Community Event (unofficial) Wynncon 2019 - The Biggest Giveaway In Wynncraft History

Here are a few things that we've been working on recently, by the way.

THE WYNNCON GIVEAWAY
If you are familiar with Wynncon, then you'll know that every year there are several massive giveaways of LE and ITEMS that often take more than a day to get through, all hosted by Wynncon. The last Con had a combined Giveaway budget of over 25 stacks of LE and 1 mythic, but this year we want to go even bigger.

Over the last two weeks we've been working together with various guilds to raise money for Wynncon. Through that we've managed to raise 9 stacks and 20 LE just from donations! But with only a month left until the actual Con, we'll need much, much more in order to make the event the best ever, and we need your help to get there.



WHY YOU SHOULD DONATE
Normally, this is where I would say that its a good cause and that your money would be put towards the community and all that, but 2019 is a year of change for Wynncon, and this year we're doing something very special with our giveaway.

First of all, this year we're using a plugin to do the name picking for us, rather than just throwing items into a crowd of people. This doesn't change much, but at least you can count on it not being rigged this year. Second of all, you won't be able to win anything from the giveaways unless you are present during the event and are inside the giveaway room while a giveaway is happening. We need as many people to attend the event as possible. Lastly, LE prizes will not be given out in increments of more than 64 LE at a time. That means that if you choose to donate a large sum of money (for example 64 LE), you DOUBLE your chance of winning that money back since the amount given away per giveaway is static, so consider donating perhaps more than 1 LE.

In addition, we are also not only keeping track of the people who donate the most LE, we are also keeping track of the guilds that collectively donate the most LE, both of which will be posted on a leaderboard here on this thread, as well as an ingame leaderboard posted right next to spawn.



HOW TO DONATE
There are a number of ways you can donate, the easiest of which would be to post a comment on this thread, however you can also message me directly on the forums, or join the discord: https://discord.gg/j27WEuJ and message me there (Gal#6150), or even find me ingame (IGN: GalaxyDono) and ask to donate. No matter how you decide to donate your name will be added to a massive spreadsheet with the names, guilds, and amt. donated recorded for each person.

With that said, thank you kindly for reading this post. Even if you do not decide to donate, at the very least consider attending the event. This Wynncon has been in development for nearly 9 months and so many people have poured hours of time and effort into it. This is only my opinion, but I think it'll be truly great this year. Thank you for your support.

Anyways will the giveaways be like 1 an hour every hour or based on the amount of players at the event? (Being Australian my Timezone is a bit ehhhhhhh)

we will probably do several giveaways over the course of 4 days all at different times to satisfy each timezone.

Wait, so you're telling me that I should give my LE to you so it can be throwed at a random person, sure I guess? Even thought someone could just make their own giveaway themselves, but Wynncon it is I guess! Also maybe the top 3 donors should get a prize? owo
