Outside Wynncraft (what Do You Do Irl?)

Hey guys, i know we all like Wynncraft very much!
It would interest me what you guys are doing IRL, maybe something funny, something not so funny, some special things, interesting things or just work.

 

Approach the inevitable

 

I quit playing a while ago, atm im a soldier in the IDF

Trying to organize a ton of things regarding band. I might conduct the group I’ve been tutoring at the concert. I’d have to give a speech too. And I’m in a quartet now.

Plus the regular stuff. 4+ songs in concert band, 4 in jazz. Have to have everything mastered by the 16th and 17th. I didn’t bring my instrument home for the weekend though

 

Just studying to become a chemical engineer and I recently got accepted to do research for 2 years.

I'm, of course, busy with school, but I'm also teaching myself coding and music production (since I plan to become a music producer and a software engineer). I have also been studying phonetics recently and the IPA, and also studying @Oskhol1 's conlang Cohedic in my spare time.

I have lots of school, but when I don’t do school stuff I try to learn languages (way too many) and also expand and improve the aforementioned constructed language.
I also draw sometimes, and try to read consistently.

 

I didnt expect so many messages.
Many of you guys seem to do lots of interesting stuff IRL.
And im just poo. And playing piano. XD

 

Hey that’s something; I played the violin for 9 years and I never bothered to learn piano because I thought it was so hard. (Mostly because of reading 2 lines at once)

 

I think learning the violin is really hard, because you must put your fingers on the right place. I learn piano and violin, thats why ive got a comparison.

 

Understandable; I’ve heard that from other people. For me, after 8th grade we memorized the finger placements. I would say the hardest part is getting every note in tune; especially when you’re sliding or using vibrato.

 

Used to play clarinet... It kinda sucked because the reeds that you use are kinda nasty and it's really hard to bridge the gap or whatever it's called (sure once you do it's fairly easy playing but I didn't like going from like two fingers to 10 all on keys as it's annoying in songs that are fast)

 

Isn’t that pretty much with any instrument playing chords?

 

Not necessarily, as things like trumpet don't have as many buttons (yeah they do have to use their mouth a lot more tho) but generally. Plus I didn't like it, and it wasted my time for several years imo
