Siegfried is a legendary figure in Gavel's Lore. Fighting off dragons in Ahmsord and defeating a whole army of green skins in Llevigar, as well as countless other fantastically unrealistic feats! Though all storytellers within these cities have 1 thing in common: no one saw him. I guess this was intended to add to the mystery of him. Some theories suggest that he is a Lockheart-like character: making stuff up and stealing others's feats. This then brings me on to another NPC that references Siegfried, a guard within the Corkus City Castle (or hall, i have no idea what it is), and he says how Siegfried was orginally from Corkus. Therefore I propose that Siegfried is a bot from the FF. I mean the guy is invincible it seems. I understand that these Bots can be easily destroyed but what if a super automaton was made, something truly unstoppable...

Sorry if anyone else has come up with this theory before. I only just thought of it now and hadn't seen anyone else point it out so hence i posted. If someone has come up with this theory before all credit goes to them.

    It's an interesting thought...
But I personally thought that he met "Bob"
But I also speculated that he could be the "Hermit" by the temple of time...

I seriously hope we get a quest in the future explaining the lore around siegfried. I hope we discover that he is an imposter because then we can finally get to use @Corpe _ 's siegfried boss battle music (ust)!!!!!!

but please listen to corpe's ust, its really good and i wish it was in game

Well I just hope there is a siegfried quest in the future, maybe a use for the siegfried collectibles. I dont really care how

The sad part is corpe's song has a lot of very fast beats, and some notes that might be out of noteblock range, because most of his ust is not designed to actually work in game, so they would probably have to use a different song or change this one.

Problem is though should there be any quest/discovery around Siegfried. I mean i kinda like the mystery, it means we can speculate about his true identity, though we never may know who (or what) he is, isn't it fun making theories

I don't think he's a robot. In fact, I don't think he's a person at all. Think about it: people always talk about him, but have never seen them, so he's probably not real. I think it's most likely Siegfried was made up by a Gavellian company simply to make money. Here's why:
His fan items are extremely expensive, meaning the main goal of selling them is to make a profit, which a hero wouldn't need.
His mask is always out of stock. I propose the item doesn't exist, but people are told it does to add credibility to the legend.
The figurine in Cinfras lacks a head, which is probably because the mask likely doesn't exist.
From most to least expensive, his fan items are his cookies, his sword, a dragon tooth, his diary collection, his mug and his autograph. The most easily produced things are the cheapest, the most exciting thing (except for the mug I guess) are the most expensive. More evidence of Siegfried being a business.
According to an NPC in Ahmsord, Siegfried defended the city from a dragon, blocking all its fireballs except for one, which is right next to the NPC. A 'great hero' would of course have deflected all the fireballs, but even if he couldn't, there is an extremely slim chance the fireball would not only hit land but also a part of Ahmsord not right next to a building. The fireball right next to the NPC is fabricated evidence, plain and simple.
