SPOILER Bob's Fate?

A few weeks ago, I went on a spree of recreating the Bob's Reincarnation boss for Wynncraft Systematic Recreation. Before I did this, I went ahead and studied the official lore of Bob via the Ragni Library, because, y'know, gotta keep it aligned with the lore somewhat (Bob's lore is an interesting read I highly encourage everyone to read it all). Keep in mind this was before the HERO Beta for Silent Expanse.

Once the Silent Expanse beta came out, it didn't take long for the SE Discoveries to be found. I remember watching the Secret Discovery for SE (SPOILER ALERT HERE).

I went back to working on the boss fight, which I'm about finished with. After testing it multiple times, something in the back of my mind clicked.

This excerpt is from the Ragni Library, Chapter 12 (XII). Keep in mind all 12 chapters tell the official lore about Bob

"Chapter XII
It was rumored he heard of a beast corrupting the province, promoting the war and increasing the strength of the monsters.

I imagine Bob probably sought to destroy it, but in his old age, perhaps he wasn't up to the mark."

If you watch the Secret Discovery, you can tell that whatever the "???" thing was, it was definitely a beast. I'm assuming the two hands we saw are claws, and that it was ripping it's eye out. Possibly it's only eye or one of multiple eyes? Who knows.

So my official thesis: Near the end of the Corruption War, Bob heard of this beast and went to Dern to destroy it somehow. However, he may have failed and died in doing so. Bak'al was pretty strong foe. For him to be referring to this beast as "Master" implies that whatever the beast is has far greater power than Bob possesses.
How he wanted to destroy the Beast is unknown. Perhaps he'd equip an Idol build and Uppercut/Bash his way through that 15 million HP. In the Sealed Letters however (Keep in mind the Sealed Letters are outdated lore so this may not be valid), Bob mentioned using his own lifeforce to seal off the Beast. Maybe that's what happened?
And if this is canon, him using his lifeforce, what if he succeeded? If he did, is there a possibility we could accidentally break that seal...?

I'm not much of a theorist, but this clicked in my head and I've been thinking about it for awhile so I had to get it off my chest.

 

This is really good stuff! I was thinking while reading this, wasn't SE a part of Wynn taken by dern? Maybe Bob was around when that was happening and tried to stop it.

 

Yes, they are still cannon, and no they aren't outdated.
I'm glad you're reading into the lore, but can you really get so many likes just by stating things you know about the lore?

Beyond my personal issues, I can say that yes, your "Theory" is correct.
Bob did kill himself to seal the eye away, that's why we had to remove the seal with a life force of our own.
The seal itself is both for the eye, but mostly for dern, keeping that 'thing' out of wynn.

I will attempt to answer any other questions on the lore, I know to much.

 

Was this answered in SE? If so damn I missed out.

 

SE wasn't a part of wynn as we know it, it was apart of wynn thousands of years ago.
The ohm ruled over the land of wynn back then, as it is there homeland.
Keeping in mind, this is before humans moved here before the ohm vanished, and before bob was even close to being born.

However, SE was refound some odd number of years ago, by a group of miners looking for emeralds.
I can't say for sure if bob was around in this time, however, I'm willing to bet he was.

Sorry to be that guy but they're the "Olm", pretty sure Ohm is a person mentioned in a item's lore

 

Is Bob part of the race of the Olm? The Olm have gray-skin, and I remember the lore mentioning how Bob was different with his skin and how his mother looked foreign and stuff.

As far as we know, yes. It's pretty implied.

 

The Theory is rather sound...
And I would love to see this as what really happens!
But if it was Bob that used "His Life Force" to seal him away,
then would it seem to work if there was a great wizard,
who broke the seal (Whether as a accident or not) and caused the spread of "The Silent Expanse" in Dern?
