I stand to my full height and stare down @Linwood Welheart , @bluepenguin1002, @AlexisPlay , and anyone else who's crowding around Ara.

"I don't care whose fault it is. And it certainly will be your fault if you continue to make this situation worse by hassling her."

Given what we talked about on Discord, we can probably say that Yevor disappeared before the undead fight back while traveling to this town. If the rest of the party tried to search for him, they weren't able to track him down.
