SPOILER Yahya Has Only Been Using .000000001% Of His Power This Whole Time

Hello. I come to you from the depths of hell to give you a warning. While everyone else has been talking about Road to Dern and what not, I've been busy playing through aura is amazing simulator. It was going pretty good, defeating every boss in one to two tries outside of CoW who is an absolute RNG BITCH to fight when you use shaman, but that's when I came across HIM.

Forget everything you thought you knew about the 1.19 update. The Eldritch Outlook, Undergrowth remake, and Shaman class don't matter anymore. All that matters is Yahya.

So, this story begins when I was doing Shattered Minds, and I had reached the point where I need to fight Yahya. Now, keep in mind, Yahya is a joke boss. He only has 1hp. I laughed to myself as I casually walked towards him, ready to kill him in one hit.

However.... something was off. It was the same traditional music I heard normally in Wynn, but this time, boss music began to crescendo within my skull. I tried to block it out, but to no avail.

That's when.... it happened.....


My heart started racing faster than the speed of sound itself, hell if you heard a sonic boom recently it was probably me. Then, Yahya simply cast suicide strike and exploded.

It was just a hallucination, I thought to myself, but that's when he reappeared. No, he was toying with me, and he did his suicide strike once more.

My mind started racing faster than a wallhugger in full cosmic who just realized the bridge was built and he came back after being afk seconds before it disappeared in CIB. What was he preparing for? Why was he messing with my head like this?

That's when... he did it.

What's that spell where he spews out a bunch of grey smoke? I've seen other mobs uses it but couldn't figure out what it does.

 

From what I've gathered, it works in a similar fashion to the push spell, this time just as a massive AoE explosion. It doesn't seem to do that much damage, luckily. Originally, I thought this was the change to heavy charge (which is also illustrated in the video, as the explosion after heavy charge now has a delay that leaves a window of opportunity to avoid it's actual damage), but then I noticed mobs were using it when they were simply standing still.

 

Yahya and only Yahya is capable of performing double suicide strike.

 

That's Explosion, or the version he's using in this encounter, Heavy Explosion. It's basically just that; the mob explodes(without damaging itself) in a radius around itself, dealing damage and knocking back players caught in the blast.

Do any other mobs use the Explosion or Heavy Explosion spell?

 

It's actually decently common on bosses now just cause it's a very convenient ability to give them.

 

Wait, wasn't there a YT video (don't remember the yt) where someone was fighting Yahya and waited a bit and then Yahya went super fast and one-shotted him? Or was that edited?

 

Don't let him fuse with Nohno, that would be disastrous

 

I think it'd be funny if they actually made the final form of Yahya a ridiculously hard boss, as in he can KILL you very easily. Imagine a bunch of lvl 105 players with mythics charging into the trippy forest to try and kill final form yahya, and then they all get absolutely massacred. Would be funny.

 

Huh. What's the radius on it? I've never been able to actually get hit with it when other mobs used it.

 

Honestly. Give him the power to Blindness 2, slowness 2, weakness 2, and nausea to anyone nearby.

 

It's a short radius or around 4-5 blocks, and around 9 blocks when heavy.
