    Because of the spell reworks, I believe the powers of each class will be shifted a bit. I personally think mage will be a lot stronger. What do you guys think?

    Mage's Meteor -> Ice Snake Repeat combo is probably going to still be extremely strong as the meteor damage buff is going to be crazy (imo)

    Well, mage probably got the nicest buff, with a clear higher damage than before. The Ice Snake nerf might be for the better or the worse, it honestly really depends on if you can manage to get two meteors in before that second ends or not. Teleport now being able to maintain running momentum might actually help quite a bit as well for panic teleport, especially with us now being able to sprint 1.5 times longer than before.

    Assassin has some.. interesting changes. Spin attack nerf, possible Multihit nerf or buff, and an interesting change to Vanish. Spin attack got its damage nerfed by a decent amount so it's not as destructive as before, and (finally!) got its thunder spell conversion toned down. Multihit is a bit of a tricky one, as it's cheaper to use with a slight damage nerf (along with the 50% water dmg on Fatality hit looking very favorable to Sitis), but the knockback is smaller. Depending on how much control Multihit still has, this could either be a buff or nerf. Vanish is a possible, maybe, theoretically, a buff. If you could manage to smoke bomb multihit vanish spin vanish spin that could deliver some big damage, but it wouldn't change that much from just spamming spins. It would also eliminate Amulet of Rejuvenation / other hpr "abuse" when vanished. Inall, I think it really depends on how good Multihit can still throw mobs around to judge assassin, but I feel like it's a slight nerf. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

    Warrior is a bit of an odd change; while I was expecting Uppercut to completely change and maybe even get deleted, we kind of got something that already exists, which simultaneously was a nerf. Right now, you can cancel Uppercuts by Bashing with a specific timing, and the Earthquake (leg break, disable jumping) will activate just after the first Uppercut hit and cancel all of Uppercut's vertical momentum. That way, you're able to get fairly decent damage output with spell warrior, even if it's very hard to be able to pull off consistently. However, Bash lost it's leg breaking ability, and Uppercut now allows you to fly up along with the mobs in addition of lowering the height traveled and buffing the damage.. slightly. Basically, uppercanceling got removed (fixed, probably) and we got a worse imitation in its place. At least the new Inspire ability on Charge seems to combo very nicely with the new Uppercut, but I have my doubts on if this is even buffing warrior all that much.

    Archer deserved a nerf, got a nerf, maybe got overnerfed, I'm not sure. Melee archer at least finally sounds good outside of quake/chains, but we'll have to see how big the AoE is to really judge how good it'll be. Still, some weapons get massive melee dps, so if the melee's good, well, nice. Arrow storm damage got halved, which sounds fair to me: if an archer could more-or-less safely use it, it often means even boss health bars deplete way faster than seems reasonable. Literally do not care about the Escape change, 1 second blindness is more than enough. Arrow Bomb change also seems fair and not even like that big of a nerf, so we'll take it. Arrow Shield got an effective damage boost, with a nice 30% air conversion to enable Gale's Force to shine even brighter. And, probably most importantly: spells will be cast a few blocks ahead of you (just outside of the shield range), which basically means even safer, possibly actually safe. All in all, archer got a damage nerf; but it's still as nicely usable as before.

    Overall, I don't think the order of strongest spell class to weakest changed that much. From what I've read, I feel like it's about Assassin - Archer - Mage - Warrior, but a big gap (still) inbetween Warrior and Mage but a (much) smaller gap inbetween the other three class the before. Nicely done.

    IMO archer will be the strongest in pvp without question because you can 1 shot kill people from like 100 blocks away with stinger quake special or thunder special.

    edit: uppercut -> uppercut combo hee hee hoo hoo

    edit 2: looking at gif, almost looks like bash is sending mobs down w/ uppercut. maybe just rly poo timing tho

    Mage, by a lot, especially on the higher skill end of things. Warrior got its high-skill dps combos nerfed, archer got ITS high-skill dps, and assassin got hit hard in every aspect besides smoke

    Mage now has
    -good utility in heal and ice snake
    -the best terrain traversing spell and
    -the highest burst damage spell in the game, which is incidentally going to pierce defenses like butter.

    Spell multipliers don't help with piercing. Mage is the worst class at piercing ele defs because of its lowest baseline damage.

    It sometimes can be. Particularly when we don't really know what changes. I've got a good handle on most of it, excepting armor powder specials, but even then TIL Arrow Storm has been 15% per arrow rather than 20%.

    At least we know the exact changes. Old patch notes were used to say shit like "Maybe buffed archer, or nerfed it idk go play the game and see for yourself".

    with warrior being able to uppercut each other to fly, assasin has the worst movement.
    then they decided to nerf its damage. rip
