What is the Therck Set?​

The Therck Set is a crafted set of armor ranging from level 1 to level 3. Wearing a full set of armor grants you an average of about 210 damage per melee hit and about 510 extra health, thereby easily outdoing a lot of level 20 sets in terms of sheer combat strength.

How does one acquire the Therck Set?​

Crafting the Therck Set is very easy. All you need is the basic materials for your weapons and armor, and 30 Therck's Chains, which you get by doing the quest Enzan's Brother 30 times. It's time consuming, but if one desires to speedrun the game, owning a Therck Set is a must!
Positives:
+Insanse health boost
+Ridiculous damage boost
+Stupidly easy to get
Negatives:
-Brain damage from doing Enzan's Brother 30 times in a row
-Making the set might take hours

Can I buy a Therck Set?​

Finding a seller who is still mentally stable after getting the set might be tricky, but if you manage, one Therck Set might only cost you less than one Liquid Emerald! Why is that? Because the material cost is heavily outweighed by the production cost! The particular set showed above is not for sale, however.

Should I have spent all this time doing actual important stuff, like homework or something?​

Tbh I was woundering if I should sell it, but tbh if you use the full set, and then go to time valley and grind the slow beefy bois there, you can get past the first 20 levels in insanly fast.

ooo this is pretty neat, I wasn't expecting so much dmg. I also like how you went into detail about it along with showing the positives and negatives about it.

After seeing this I was thinking maybe I should do a livestream on getting this full set... the people can watch me suffer as I drain my energy away from doing the Enzan's bro quest 30 times and collecting the Tier 3 materials. Since you made this thread I'll let you make the decision, so the choice rests in your hands :D

oh my god took me a second to realise the names and lore XD

 

Personally, I have unironically done this in the past (yeah, I waste my time)
It works well for levels 1-30, (I made one set with lvl 1-3 and one set with 20-23 materials), but after that, you pretty much have to move on to regular armor because the pure dps and health can't make up for everything else anymore (at least in my non-credible experience). Getting these two sets of armor took 48 chains, with each chain taking 2-3 min. to obtain.
I also didn't make the crafted weapon, but rather just picked a weapon with high attack speed. For example, Fern for Warrior, Tormenter for Archer, etc.
So, if you see an Archer or Warrior running around Ancient Nemract with 560 dps or so, it may be me.

Edit: What is the chance that Salted will nerf Therck's chain by doing something like a durability cost?
