As I've had to point out, for some odd reason, that's only with tier stack.
He said in most situations, which couldn't be more correct.

It is better in a SINGLE kind of build, that does NOT make it better in "Most situations."
Do you want to do something that isn't a tier stacking fire build? THEN IGNITION IS BETTER.
I don't understand, you can't proclaim its better, in almost every situation, and then proceed to say it's only better at this very specific thing, how about everything else?

 

It's worth noting that if your "something that isn't a tier stacking fire build" happens to be heavy melee, Diaminar is still probably better. Ignition really only beats Diaminar in spell builds.

It's better at hybrid, arguably tanking, and just spells. What I don't understand is why that invokes a comparison to you guys, much less a flat out reject of ignition.
That also still doesn't explain how I was supposed to know you're that you're talking about tier stacking. Your exact quotes were

What annoys me the most, is that yours also implies you're talking about everything else aswell.

 

Would you really compare a spell/hybrid Ignition to things like Infused Hive, (to an extent) Tidebinder, or Braker? Not really, because it lacks in comparison to them. Sure, Ignition may have these minor advantages over Diaminar, but at the end of the day Diaminar has the major advantage of being the better of the two in fire tierstack, something which has a legitimate chance of competing with the other meta items due to it's decent dps and high survivability,. Keep in mind this thread is basically the equivalent of listing the meta, not what is viable.

 

(speaking from war experience, I've done LI with like exclusively divzer and guardian/hero so I have pretty little experience there)

3: probably stinger honestly but it's close between that and cluster
justification for gales being over cluster is just the insane survivability advantage has over gales, personally just leads to an easier time soloing things

Assassin:
1: Black (fine @Haisay it's the best legendary I'll acknowledge it)
2: Infused Hive Dagger
3: Thrunda Ripsaw

Mage:
1: Infused Hive Wand
2: Morrowind
3: can we make plague staff meta again please

Warrior:
SPELL-
1: Infused Hive Spear
2: Tidebinder
3: Braker??
MELEE-
1: Diaminar
2: Ignition
3: genuinely no idea

Hive Wand has always felt a little overrated to me. Not in the sense of it being bad, but compared to Morrowind or Nepta. Mainly since the full neutral damage means 60% of meteors gets converted.
Warrior Melee #3 - Braker? :P

 

Isn't nepta better than morrow?

 

Note that as a warrer, Goden is likely to prefer Agi-based or lifesteal-based weapons. Hence the placement of Gale's Force above Hive Bow, and also Ripsaw (not to mention putting Diaminar and Ignition as the primary melee warrior choices).

1. Black (A really good hybrid, damage varies most of the time, but extremely good mana steal)
2. Thunder Slider (Haise made this thing somehow work)
3. Sitis (You mostly would use this for Life Steal and/or as a Black Dual Wield)
Archer
1. Stinger (31k+ quakes lol)
2. Gale's Force (I like to dodge raindrops too)
3. Infused Hive Bow (Some guy wanted to buff this so yeah)
Mage
1. The Lethe (Really good for Melee Mage for some reason)
2. Nepta Floodbringer (Lament's supposed to be better, I guess not.)
3. Infused Hive Wand (Infused is mostly a jack of all trades)

1. Diaminar (Really good as a cheap Apoc replacement, doesn't do as much damage as Apoc but it's still really good)
2. Infused Hive Spear (Again, jack of all trades)
