{rp} Tysra's Aftermath [6/6]

Okay. It's an animal. This is alot easier. Okay.
Throw the sword at the boar. Regardless of the result, move to help my grandfather up and run through the door. Carry him if I can.

 

A crack of thunder rang through the air and Beci looked out as the lamp hanging by the door swung madly in the wind. She turned to Kollin, her face showing extreme concern,

"W-Where should we go?! In these conditions, how can we even leave the cottage? And what about Jonathan? We can't abandon him here alone!"

With all his strength, Ky threw the sword at the approaching boar.
Sword Toss: 1-59 = Fail / 60-100 = Success ||||||||| Result = 94

The sword sliced into the boar, releasing a shrill squeal that sent chills down Ky's back. Startled and disgruntled from the wild attack, the boar attempted to shake the sword out of its body. As the boar shook itself, Ky helped his grandfather up and as soon as the duo reached the door, the swung fell free from the boar. Giving another wild squeal, the boar began charging towards the door!

 

"See ya."Sitting down among her colleagues, Tae enjoyed the peace after the fight to finish eating her salad. After she's finished, the woman gets up.
"So, is there another class now or?" She asks Kindra.

 

I have a few chunks of metal in my bag. Reach in for then and chuck them. Or whatever I touch first really. Don't really have the time to search my bag.
Any thing in the house thats like, sharp and nearby?

 

"The best place is probably the goldenberry. As for Jonathan he'll be fine"

 

Lysanna shrugged her shoulders, finishing her meal as she spoke,

"Lecture with Junva is in a couple of hours. If you're interested in Earth class or whatever, try talking to some of the students nearby. I'm sure that table over there has some answers."

The girl pointed towards a table a bit behind her, a small cluster of Earth magic students still conversing. A couple of them were still eating their food, but for the most part, they were just casually talking to one another. Lysanna stood up from the table and waved back at Kindra and Tae,

"Lunch ends in about fifteen minutes, so I'll be at the dorm if you need me. Ta ta, ladies~."

Kindra threw a peace sign as Lysanna walked off, turning back to her conversation with Dougal. For the most part, it seems all the students around Tae are busy with their own conversations.

Ky dug into his bag and threw the metal shards onto the ground. The boar clipped its hooves on several of them and tripped on itself, stumbling once again onto the ground. Looking around, Ky noticed several spears beside him for the fireplace on the first floor. Other than that, those seem to be the only sharp objects around him that can be used to defend himself from the shadow.

Beci nodded and tucked some hair behind her ears, her face still showing a slight sense of concern and worry,

"I'm guessing we'll have to make a run for it. Although, I doubt we'll last out there in this storm with just light clothing. Do you have anything that's better suited for harsh weather like this?"

Almost reflecting Beci's point, another clap of thunder rang through the cottage. Looking out the window, Kollin noticed a slight difference in the intensity of the rain, but the water still pounded harshly on the windows. He might have something within his wardrobes or even Jonathan's that can cover the both of them.

 

"Let me check" I go raid Jonathan's closet

 

Quickly ask my grandfather, "Are you okay?"
Keep chucking things from my bag at the boar ubtil I reach the spears.

 

Kollin's boots thumped on the wooden stairs as he ran up to Jonathan's room. He was a bit surprised as to how the door just swung open without being locked. However, the state of Jonathan's room was a bit more off putting to Kollin. Typically tidy and organized, Jonathan's room looked as if a hurricane blew through it. Papers, books, clothing, and other room decorations were sprawled all over the place. Moving past these obstacles, Kollin grabbed the wardrobe's door and was alarmed as to how it just fell right off. Looking inside, Kollin glossed over the large black and brown trench coats in the closet.

Ky threw whatever was in his bag, from the rest of his scraps to any miscellaneous item he could grab at that instant. The boar was still struggling with the scraps of metal, but was now even more bewildered with these other random objects thrown at it. Ky's grandfather coughed and slowly stood up as the boar struggled to get up to his feet,

"That witch wasn't supposed to be here yet. Why she and her pawns are here now is a beyond me. I'm fine, Ky, however we can't stay here."

As soon as Ky's grandfather finished, Ky reached the fireplace spears and drew out one of them. The tip looked partially sharp, but Ky looked back at his grandfather. It looked like he was trying to reach the door, but the boar was beginning to slowly regain its footing from Ky's onslaught of item throwing.

 

Looking at the mess of a room that it is i say to myself"How does he even find anything in here." Then i grab the trench coats

 

Spears are like splinters.
Hold the spear with two hands infront of me, and rush at the boar. No strat, just speed and power.

 

Waving goodbye to her friends, Tae began heading towards the Earth circle group, looking for someone who she could talk to.

 

I sit down at my seat. Suddenly I feel some sort of amnesia but soon it fades away.

 

"Of course, I do not think that that is cheating. However, is it not possible to assume that your father would need that powder for something else"? Silva whispers back, as he attempts to read the rune designs.

 

Collecting the trench coats, Kollin returned to the first floor to see a pacing Beci. The woman turned to him as she collected a trench coat,

"Goldenberry, then? You know anyone there?"

Sprinting towards the boar, Ky thrusted the spear in front of him and pierced the boar's side. The boar squealed loudly and suddenly exploded in a puff of black smoke!! The smoke rose up in the air before whirling into a sphere and flying out of the broken window. Ky's grandfather threw open the door and began running down the stairs, not bothering to wait for Ky.

As Tae approached the Earth circle group, a couple of students who were minding their own business looked up to her. Two boys who practically look like twins with their black hair and blue eyes looked up at her along with a boy with bright orange hair. The orange haired boy cleared his throat as he closed the book in front of him,

"Can...we help you?"

Soon enough, Mr. Nevic tapped his lecture stick on the blackboard and the room grew to a hush. He walked back to his desk,

"Homeroom today shall be for doing any studies you are behind on. Don't let me catch you doing any roughhousing or tomfoolery."

With that, the class slowly grew into a murmur conversation level, students pulling out papers to work on.

Silva tuned his ears to Hilda as he read the runes, some of them looking familiar to him. Those specific runes seem to resemble some connection to witchcraft, but with the low light around him, he wasn't absolutely certain.

"Pshh, my dad hasn't touched this powder for a few days. He usually doesn't touch Air Circle reagents, so I guess I get a pass with that. But I only take a little bit, that's why I have all these pouches!

To Silva's surprise, Hilda took out several more pouches from her skirts. The girl had a wicked smile on her face, almost comical in a sense.

 

"I will not lie, that is surprisingly impressive." Silva says, before looking around the room.

"What does your father do for a living?" He asks.

 

I take out any work I have, simultaneously looking around the room for Elizabeth.

 

Start to chase after him, but drop the spear to the ground after realizing its more hassle than help.

 

"I work there, so yes"

 

"Uhm, I think so. I'm planning on joining the Earth Circle class, could you perhaps help me with that?" Tae says, rubbing her hands together and tapping her fingers together.
