SPOILER Wynn Waypoints - Your Waypoint Database - 130+ Tier 3/4 Chests Mapped!

Wow, more than 7 months after the initial introduction of WynnWaypoints its still kinda relevant. Im sorry that I havent been on for quite a while and I dont think that I will come back to Wynncraft in the near future.
I also wont be updating the source code of WynnWaypoints anymore, it was a very fun project and I learned a lot while programming. Thanks for all the support and for using WynnWaypoints, together we gathered the location of 82 T3 and 51 T4 chests!!

 

Just so people know,
The project isn't dead, the current site will keep on running and I am currently working on creating a new site which will will have the same functions as the current one.
Waypoint submissions are still accepted and encouraged! So go out there and find those chests!

 

Nothing will probably change in the next 1-2 months. I'm still new to website development and have a college course load to top it all off so it will take me some time to make something worthy for yall.

 

I don't think there are any chests left to find, and if there are they must be either extremely well hidden or in a place so obscure no one would bother to look on

 

Maybe add T1 and T2 chest too?

 

Just curious, does this still work post economy?

 

I've heard that there are some more in Sky Islands, but I don't know for sure.

 

Yes it does, unless the builds team decides to shift the whole world by a couple blocks to the right, it should still work in future updates as well.

Maybe in the future, but right now, there just isn't the infrastructure to support a feature like that.

 

Yo i was wondering on the waypoint site the waypoint file for the wynntils is broken is that gonna be updated any
time ?

 

Probably not in the near future man, sorry. The old website owner can't access the website anymore and has decided to stop updating it. So right now, I'm just trying to get a new site online but we're still some time away from it getting launched.

 

After about an hour of troubleshooting the wynntils waypoint config, I figured out why the file isn't working. It seems in the very last entry for chests, the comma for the y direction is placed in the wrong position. It's placed like 70,.0 instead of 70.0,
idk if you can open the XML config file without an IDE cause I already had one installed, but you can manually change it and then the file will work

I'm working on getting the other two versions up and ready.
As you can probably surmise, the submissions are currently not being accepted right now.

As for the new website, development is still ongoing but with midterms coming and such, I can't give you guys an ETA on the website just yet. Soontm

 

Also if someone has the other version of the files, could you send them to me so I can host them for other people? Or host them yourselves?

Spoiler: Steps

To use the waypoints you need the Wynntils Mod. If you don't have the Wynntils Mod, install it first. If you have it installed, you can start with the following steps:
!!!WARNING: IMPORTING THESE WAYPOINTS WILL OVERWRITE AND DELETE CURRENT EXISTNIG WAYPOINTS!!!
1. Go to your .minecraft folder and enter the "wynntils" folder.
2. Enter the "configs" folder.
3. Enter the latest folder with the hash code name (has a name something like this: '5d0c8ef6fe6b4dc38f999da54bead338').
4. Copy the "map-waypoints.config" inside that folder, replace the old existing file if necessary.
5. Restart Minecraft and you are good to go.
Optional: Open Wynntils' settings (Default key:`P`) and click the apply button. This will back-up your waypoints in the cloud.
Since there are going to be more chests added as the time goes on, you will have to download the newest version and just repeat step 4.
