Grian Silently Limited His Profile And Disappeared Without A Trace?

Grian's last post, https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/market-place-update.246235/#post-3027718, was on Mar 30, 2019. He hasn't made any further posts and has since silently limited his profile. His profile can no longer be viewed and the option to start a conversation with him via PM by clicking his name has been removed.

I noticed that he never linked his forum account to his Minecraft account, although I'm pretty sure he did in the past. https://wynncraft.com/stats/player/Grian

I also noticed that Grian hasn't been online since 8 months ago. That's... strange?

Did Grian simply loose interest in Wynncraft and decided to let someone else take his place? Is he still active? Was this all because of Hermitcraft?

 

He probably has other stuff to do, really no reason to conspiracize. Maybe dude wants some privacy.

 

Honestly it might be easier to control the news on future content if there are fewer places for it to come from. Seeing as everyone reacted poorly to the "1.18 isn't RtD or Dern" post, this is probably better for him and the community. I hope he still enjoys wynn, but I think he should definitely prioritize his privacy/sanity. Everyone needs a mental health day, especially when post #5 and #7 on that thread are literally just jabs. Why engage with a community that hates the news you bring? Honestly not surprised.

 

If Grian would decide to leave Wynncraft, I would think we would hear about it. Or at least I'd hope we do.

He's clearly pretty busy running his yt channel, especially because of the hermitcraft series, and that's leaving him with a lot less time to be in the wynn community. He prioritizes his channel which makes sense, as it's a very well-paying job.

Regarding his profile, I'm thinking he's just set it to private as a way of avoiding players associating him with an "active" admin, so that people won't bother to try to message him or something.

Grian also got engaged recently, so maybe that's why too

 

The 8 months thing is because our development servers don't count so even though he's pretty active there the count won't reset

 

I still work on Wynncraft every week on new game content.

I just didn't want people people to be able to put stuff on my profile or try to contact me through the forums, simple as that.

I am busy with both wynncraft and YT - but my time on all social media is limited by self imposition.

Very understandable, time is very valuable. You're doing a great job both on Wynn and on YT so having people taking up time must be tiring

the real reason is you knew someone was making the swole grian image and you had to close your profile before it was spammed there and you’d be forced to make it your pfp
