I'll check if the nightstands have been emptied

 

A few buildings that look like inns can be seen from where Darx stands, with The Dark Willow being the most best option.

The man still stands behind the countertop, picking up a bottle and cleaning it with a used rag. Having ignored what Vitiate said, Sate says.
"If you are interested, I will tell the details by morning."

"Yes, it will be charged. And I will send the girl and the keys once you're interested in going into the room." She leaves Wren, going towards a table that called for the woman.
The scent of spices makes Wren's stomach grumble.

Both nightstands have been properly and totally emptied. The sun begins to set.

 

Before going to bed I'll check outside the window for anyone that looks interesting.

 

I pick up a candle and place it over where the sun would be during the day.
"Oh, wow, look. It's the morning." I say with casual apathy.

 

"How much?"
Start walking over to a table.

 

Enter the "Dark Willow."

 

A couple talks and laughs at one of the few benches Deton can see through the canopy. An old man and a young adult walk alongside a path of beaten dirt. Stopping for a moment, the young man turns and looks at Deton, putting a hand to his ear, in a silent to sign to talk to him later. As he turns around, the pair returns to their path, although in the next clearing of the canopy, they are unseen.

After waiting five minutes to see if the pair would reappear, the Herilian sits on his bed and feels himself more and more tired, finally settling down.

Sate leans his head to the side and gives a humourless smile to Vitiate, who immediately feels pain shoot up his arm. Screaming, he kneels to the floor, holding out his arm in front of him. Somehow, the knife is lodged inside it once again, the bandages nowhere to be seen. After a minute of dealing with the pain, the knife is suddenly gone, and the bandages are back in place, although the blood starts to soak through them. The bartender goes back to cleaning the bottle, with a much more serious tone to his voice however.

"By. Morning." The monk knows it is not a good idea to joke again.

The woman turns her head towards Wren. "Three Copper Pieces, meal and drinks for the night."

Finding himself alone by the door, the cloaked man sits at a table in a rather empty part of the inn, waiting for his meal. A musician plays in a small stage, masterfully playing a fast song on the lute. A few men and women cheer him on.

Once Darx opens the door to The Dark Willow, he notices the same old monk from earlier and the bartender, which cleans a bottle methodically behind the counter. The former spirit is knelt on the ground, holding his left arm in front of him. It is covered with blood-stained bandages. The bartender shoots the silver-haired boy a smile.

"Hello, we meet again. Don't worry, he'll be just fine." The young man emphasizes the last word with an angry tone of voice, directed towards Vitiate.

 

Darx, is shocked, but quickly calmed slightly down through his injuries.

"Uh, what happened sir?" (to bartender)

 

"Fine then." I go to my bed.

 

Fish around in my bag and place three copper on the table.
Looking around, what does the meal seem to be?

 

I'll turn in for the night

 

He waves his hand at the monk with carelessness. "An accident. Tried to juggle with the knives, that's all." The bartender gestures towards a table. "What are you interested in? Perhaps a meal or a room?"

While the bartender speaks to Darx, Vitiate gets up and goes up the stairs.

As Vitiate enters the room, he sees a neatly put together bed, with a small fireplace on one of the walls and a window with a view to the landscape outside the city. Looming over the houses, the monk has a view of the star-covered night sky, with hills and forests as far as the eye can see.

Laying on the bed, Vitiate feels tired like he hasn't been in years, and stares at the ceiling for a moment before closing his eyes and drifting off into sleep.

It appears to be soup, with seasoned chicken and dark bread. The drinks are included, and people are drinking mead and cider.

Deton closes his eyes and drifts off into sleep.

A man comes to Wren's table carrying a small tray, filled with the varied foods he saw scattered around the inn. Putting it down in front of the cloaked man and taking the coins, he says nothing before leaving.

As Wren finishes eating the food, he looks around the bar. Getting up, the cloaked man taps the woman from before and informs her he's heading to his room. After a few minutes of waiting, a woman appears and stands by the door alongside Wren. "So, you're staying here tonight?" The man supposes this is the woman with the key.
