    I honestly see it as the birthplace of darkness itself, the birthplace of light being realm of light. I feel it will be a bit larger though, with actual content instead of filler (like realm of light is).

    imo it is basically just light realm but they turned the brightness down. also it better have quests n shit since its been worked on for 4 or 5 years now lol

    complaining aside i think it is most likely home to darkness, possibly the kind corrupting gavel. It also most certainly resembles the building style of the hive, but i think we all already knew qira was from dern lol. it is also possible that this darkness isnt necessarily evil, but just exists where it is and inadvertently affects the land around it.

    if that is they case they will need to do some MAJOR worldbuilding lore to explain how 3 regular landmasses formed right next a place so different. idk

    tldr; better be good, it needs a LOT of lore to go along with it to make it seem not completely arbitrary

    Iirc according to the old lore (2015) dern was a name of the province but the dark realm took over it entirely so there isn't much of a difference now between the two.

    Has anyone checked to see if there is any significance to the frames that flash brighter with the faded lavender hue? Perhaps the numeric position of those frames within the video holds some significance.
