Community Event Major Ids Prediction/suggestion Thread!

Heyyyy everyone we just got a 1.19 teaser with these new major ids! Along with that we also got told new ids are coming into the game! This thread is specifically to predict what we think may be coming in the future!

Comment whatever you think/hope will come to the game.



I'll start by guessing Fatal will get some crit chance major id to further enhance its damage. maybe like a 1/5 chance to hit insanely hard or somthing?

 

Thrundacrack is definitely gonna have something to do with thunder, due to the pure form of thunder lore. My prediction is a change to uppercut, making it deal slightly more thunder dmg, have lightning strikes instead of explosions, and deal no knockback, possibly giving slowness too. Seems kinda op but it would be really cool.

This is something not "made seriously before". Anyone got an idea what this could mean?
I initially thought it was something like taking all emeralds nearby, but that's already a thing with Magnet.
Then I thought it could be something like it allows one to killsteal or be greedy and take mob kills from other players grinding around you...? I'm not sure how that would work.
Anyone else got some better ideas? Maybe if some people know builds that no-one has attempted seriously before?

 

Maybe it greatly increases the power of stealing, allowing the stealing of more emeralds and even rarer, items?

 

I think nirvnana, or any of the water mythics, might get a percent chance for a spell to cost 0 mana

 

New Ids

Kamikaze

When you die, you will create a big explosion dealing 50x of your weapons base damage in neutral, while your items explode outwards too (to make it balanced).


Black Hole

You have a 1/7 million chance every second to collapse into a black hole that grows exponentially across the server consuming players, their items and such.


The World

If you type "THE WORLD" into chat, every player and mob will be effected with slowness, blindness and will be unable to do anything for 8 seconds. (WOULD OF BEEN WITH REQUIEM BUT THEY CHANGED THAT NAME SO NO JOJO)



I think these are pretty balanced

Speed

Every time you kill a mob, you gain Speed 255. (with warp so you can go extra fast)


Pickpocket

You can now attack players and players can attack you. You have a 1/100 chance to drop one of someone's items whenever you attack them. (a bonus after wearing the bandit set)

Sorta like @H0Y0Y0Y0Y0Y0B0Y said, a black hole. Singularity might have a black hole ability. It could increase damage of meteor. It could maybe suck in nearby monsters, just like gravity sucking in nearby loot. This would help singularity a lot as the user does not have the best mobility with the negative walkspeed given from singularity.

Collapse could have a chance to do immense more melee damage, due to the spearhead literally destroying matter when something is touched by collapse.

I'm certain we'll see Majors that affect spell conversion.

Hmmm should I add suggestion to the title?

 

I have a few ideas:
-It could be a taunt ID; IE 'stealing' people's attention and making mobs aggro on you
-It could let you steal mob spells
-It could give you damage on kills
-It boosts the regen speed of powder specials

My Personal Wishlist:
-Lunar spine has a 'meteor storm' based thing; when you cast it, it costs more, but launches multiple meteors at once. The main problem with Lunar spine IMO is just that you can't cast spells fast enough to utilize your mana before it gets vooped away. It'd also fit the cosmic theme well
-Nona gets a companion thing; while vanished, you summon a spirit who attacks for you. It'd be fun and fit the theme of the altar.
-Ivory deals more damage to enemies that use thunder or fire damage; it'd fit the theme of the weapon really well.
-The Uth weapons get an ability where using them together greatly boosts damage.
-Flameshot hilt burns enemies with melees.
-Peaceful rest can overheal allies, granting them up to 50% extra health.

 

GalesForce/Air items will come with whirl wind or tornado?

Inferno: Deal damage around yourself in a 5 block radius every second equal to 50% of your melee damage. (Inferno)

Hyper Velocity: Arrows fly at higher speeds. (Divzer)

Counter: Enemies attacking you will deal 5% less damage for 3 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. (Nullification)

 

oooo that lunar one seems epic! maybe call it "falling moon" or something?

can Nulli get a ability also so when it triggers it auto sends in chat YOU SHALL BE NULLIFIED

I edited title to suggestion. Mods I would apprentice if this could stay in general due to the prediction aspect.

Also what if tide binder and maybe other water spears had a vortex for each bash pulling enemies in doing extra damage rather than throwing them out

black gives you the n-word pass

 

Can some major ids only come as set bonuses. It be cool for clock set to have a different major ID for each item count. Or maybe using full morph will make all your damage be rainbow, distributed evenly(maybe including raw melee/spell as well?
Edit: even crazier thought. Morph makes you morph into the last thing you hit.

 

I just wish some bows have "homing arrows" major id
but alas it's too strong

 

imagine trying to hit a boss but your arrows keep going for the minions instead

 

Honestly at this point I'm convinced Grandmother's major id is to kill you instantly after one minute of usage
