    I do have four questions about this update
    First is major IDs the main bit of the update or are we getting other things with it like more quests, dern, ect

    Second Will major IDs on weapons have a way of being toggled? Perhaps armor as well but for weapons major IDs could become quite annoying in curtain situations and super strong in others.

    Third will putting major IDs on crafteds be possible? Mainly due to trying to keep crafteds viable.

    Lastly is there any chance we will still get revamp hive armors as that was really the only thing the community unanimously liked from it?

    i would think that crafted items wont have major ids. if youre not looking at durability, crafted items can see way more powerful than most items, with the only thing holding them back being durability. i see major ids as a way to make normal items more unique, cause you can make most items basically 1;1, or even better by crafting, but you have to deal with durability

    I don't like the hive armor changes, but I do like the additions. Anima infused cuirass was bleh

    I definetly want to see this. I think it should be simple, if you slap something like ocea still on your gear the game should detect you want some sort of rainbow item major ID. (like gravity)

    Or if you have water powders, or water items (glacial anomaly, crystalline, viking stone etc) the game will give you a random major ID that helps with water weapons. Though, some people stupidly slap glacial anomaly and add air powders on bows so I don't know. I do want weapons to be fair though, so major IDs on crafted will be intresting.

    Major IDs won't be the main feature of the upcoming update, but it will be a significant part of the changes that'll be made to items. The coming update will be focussed around world-specific content with the item changes being a notable addition.

    There are no current plans to add a toggle to Major IDs right now. We're occupied more-so withother significant aspects of the update such as developing and implementing these into gameplay. The natural toggles remain available to everyone though: just unequipping the item.

    Major IDs won't be available on ingredients, unfortunately. They are often powerful augments to a character or playstyle whereas crafting has been designed around flexibility and accessibility. That being said, however, you're likely to see some of the new normal identifications appear exclusively on ingredients.

    As mentioned here:
    There will be changes from the revamp that will be kept and brought forward with necessary modifications to keep them in line with the current sandbox. Master Hive items (both additions and changes) will be one of these things.

    Every legendary/mythic won't feature a Major ID. Major IDs, as mentioned prior, are powerful augments that we often have to design items around. As such, depending on their strength, a Major ID might be the focus of an item. Items that don't include these will be remain centred around minor identifications (melee damage %, loot bonus, [REDACTED], etc). Also to note: Major IDs will be limited to tiers above Rare.

    Wow, this is actually pretty cool. I like the idea of major IDs allowing you to to do different things with builds, which supports the Item Team’s hope to create more build diversity in a much more interesting and fun way than before.

    this has me stoked lol

    I would still love to see most of the elemental revamp changes, the new item design was really good and I'm sure that's agreed on by most of the people who knew about it, everyone was just salty because their builds were being ruined from what I've seen

    with apparent new IDs, I hope they begin to organize the IDs better. right now it's a long list of everything with no apparent order, perhaps merging things like elemental damages, mana/life steal, mana/life regen, loot/xp bonus, etc in to a single line and keeping a universal order across all items
