No offense taken: For me, I like Pokemon designs if they’re clever, most people only like cute and cool Pokemon. I think the single dumbest Pokemon design ever is Alolan Exeggutor. I get what they were going for, but it just looks too over the top and ridiculous, and it just doesn’t do anything for me.

Yeah, Morpeko is pretty cool. My only problem with it is that its a little too reminiscent of Pikachu and Gengar, but hey, we need a Pika-clone, might as well make it gimmicky

I have my fair criticisms of SwSh, but I think its getting ridiculous. It’s fair to say that Pokemon has been cutting corners lately since the 3d games have less content than gen 4 and 5, I get that. However, I think there’s huge double standards when it comes to Pokemon. People hate Gamefreak because they’re “lazy” and the root of all evil, but love Sakurai because he “works hard”, even though I don’t see how that’s the case when Smash Ultimate has just as many reused assets and cut content...
