Mage Stats?

so i have been playing and exploring as a mage. but for what kind of stats do i need to look for in my gear? i guess melee wouldn't help but i'm not sure what would be good for me.
any suggestions are welcome

 

melee actually does help because any class' basic attack (left-click except for archer, which is right-click) counts as melee damage (confusing, I know)
but for game progression, xp bonus and Mana Regen (and maybe intelligence and agility) are important

 

Just try a lot of stuff out that you have and just use the stuff you like and enjoy try to make your build really complement each other.... also dont be scared to just try stuff out and change it completly later

I’d go for rainbow tho bc of the nice defences u can get later on ;)
