I had a character concept in mind.
After the very first post, I had to change her personality.
After the second post, I had to change the personality even more as well as her mannerisms.
I'm not confident I can play the new character well, but I can make an attempt to. :/
...
But the lines where we exposed ourselves to each other as champions I heavily dislike.
Especially since I was running away from a myriad of things already. The list of reasons I'm being hunted is long enough, yet I just gave more information to a total stranger, someone who I have yet to trust. This information may be even more reason to hunt me down.

The steed neighs in confusion. You sense it too. Something's off. Suddenly, dark clouds appeared overhead, funneling into a maelstrom. Black lightning swirled overhead. Laughter filled the air. A giant shadow was cast over you, as you look up and realize what's casting the shadow: Another giant obelisk with ancient Androzaanika markings fell down to the ground, only this one had been hollowed out at the center, leaving only a small beam connecting the top and bottom halves, and this small pillar was a pillar of dark red crystal, seething with a dim glow. As it smashed into the ground, the earth shook as fragments - calling them fragments was an injustice - massive pieces of debris were flying for miles. One such boulder flew with such ferocity that it burned red from wind resistance, like an ember in the snow. Shockwaves emanated from the landing point. The capitol building was in flames. Screams filled the air in mass. And yet, you still did not feel as if this was over. A darker presence yet was still coming. Inevitable. Unstoppable.\

Another, smaller portal opens in front of you. Out of it steps a stranger. And even for a stranger, the presence felt familiar. You lock eyes from across the plaza bathed in flame. And for a second your minds were one. A psychic link. You were the same.
