"That sounds very unhealthy. What could you possibly be working on that work require that much time and focus?"

Also, if you guys have any suggestions for where I should take yours (or anyone else's) story, feel free to let me know because I don't know what I am doing half the time.

 

Stand. Who's around me? Just stare at the one with the most authority with a question.

 

"I'm not sure I can answer that. If they have me specificly working on something for so long, I'd say it's pretty important and I'm not sure you can hear it."

(Also, slight suggestion - Shaun has a bit of an ego. Not that much, but it shows in situations like these.)

I head away towards my lab.

How do you get in? Is there like a secret entrance or is just a normal door?

A bench attached to the wall and that's about it. There's a man sitting lazily on the bench chuckling to himself.

 

A normal (locked) door goes into a normal-looking workspace/office with a secret entrance to the base.

 

Ah. They put me in here with another person. Of the opposite gender at that. Hm.
Just use the time reverse powers to clear a spot on the ground. If it's relatively clean, sit down.

Ah, in that case, you enter your very normal looking workspace.

I enter the very hidden very unusual hideout and keep working on the grappling hook contraption.

 

Sit down against the wall and just wait.

Fast foward a few hours and you put the finishing touches on the gadget. It should work, you just need to test it.

The man sitting on the bench leans over to you, stil slightly chuckling.
"Your that Eleanor lady right? I see on TV all the time. I guss your grey deeds have finally caught up with ya huh?"
He starts laughing again.

 

"Nothing quite like practical expirimentation."
First, I test it by trying to grab a wrench.

It misses the wrench and instead hits the lamp behind it. Like quite literally knocks it over.

 

"Not the most precise thing, but that's to be expected."
Next, I don the suit and get outside! I'll try to find an area where fall isn't as bad and there are targets that I can grapple.

 

Glance over but keep my silence.

You head out to the city docks. Should be enough cranes out here for you to grapple to. And no one's around.
