Can someone update me on what's happened?

 

Fighting the guy that had the shifting face. He called himself 'Red' I believe?
Anyway, he grabbed a weapon, telling us to fight him and kill him and the weapon. We're fighting him now.

 

The weapon's been destroyed. Stay, or "Red", or "Oblivion Stayed" on the B.M., just disappeared. Another Nux appeared behind the party, but it's pretty obvious it's Stay taking a different form.

 

I can't look at the battle map right now. Can I get a screenshot?

 

Alright, I'll move both Aaron and me over to the new guy and Leafy attacks with his short swords.
To hit: 11+6=17
Damage: 12+6=18 slashing
Aaron attacks as well.
To hit: 9+6=15
Damage: 7+3=10 piercing
The Nux has to make a Strength saving throw. I'm sure you know the DC by now.

 

*Strength, if it's the wolf prone thing.

 

Damn, I forgot.

 

Yeah, it'd be a lot nicer if it was Dex. Nux kinda has a +7 to Strength Saving Throws.

I do a Hasted power-walk through the water, then charge in, going for 4 strikes.
Attack 1 (G): NAT1
Bonus Attack (S): 3 + 7 = miss
Attack 2 (G): 11 + 8 = hit
Hasted Attack (G): NAT20
My obvious initial lunge is easily caught by "Nux"'s hand and swiped away. I come back with a poke from my shield, which, similarly, is blocked by "Nux"'s mirrored shield. I push forth, however, enabling me to hook the gap in "Nux"'s shield with my gap, yanking the shield backwards as I go in for a rib shot that deals 13 damage. Our shields still linked, I use my speed to swing a wild haymaker that lands in my enemy's temple, dealing an additional 14 damage. Our shields unhook as I take a step back.

Move and dash with my bonus actions, lunging forward with my rapier to attack "Nux".
18+6=24 to hit.
8+5+3=16 piercing damage.

As a BA, I’ll cast Hex targeting Strength.
I shoot at ’Nux’.
To hit: 19+7=26
Dmg: 2+4=6 Piercing plus 6+5=11 Sneak Attack damage and 3 Necrotic damage. 20 total.
End turn.

 

Hera reappears and use an action to stop the blink.

End turn.

 

I fly over towards the action and upcast Scorching Ray, firing four missiles of flame from sigils on the shoulders of my armor towards the false "Nux".

Ray 1: 10 + 10 = 20
Ray 2: 11 + 10 = 21
Ray 3: 5 + 10 = 15
Ray 4: 11 + 10 = 21

I'm not exactly sure which of those hit, but here's the damage for each.

Damage 1: 3 + 4 = 7 fire damage
Damage 2: 2 + 5 = 7 fire damage
Damage 3: 3 + 6 = 9 fire damage
Damage 4: 2 + 5 = 7 fire damage

I'll let @Riven figure out damage and edit HP. End turn.

 

Nice to see this didn't move a lot in my absence.

 

The blast created by the fourth missile freezes in place at its peak, stuttering through a transformation to a pitch black silhouette of itself. Reality bends to form a sick appendage from the blast that resembles Ordon's mechanical limb; however its imperfections are exaggerated and movements rapid, alien. It bends what appears to be its elbow to position its palm upon the false Nux's heart. Energy surges from the hand's fingers, which twirl above the imposter's chest, intertwining threads of power that pierce into its ribs. (Haste, conc. by the new creature)

A familiar "Whoooo!" bounces back from the inky walls. A radiating absence of light forms an eerie outline around the creature now. Or is it two creatures? What is even happening anymore?

Suddenly, disembodied gauntlets of a darkest black appear out of thin air. They come from your sides, above, somewhere out of your peripheral vision. Everyone makes a DC 12 DEX save or suffers 12 bludgeoning damage on a success as the gauntlets collide into you, or 6 slashing damage on a failure as they miss and partially scrape against you.

"You know, the terrible thing with the gauntlet breathes in an empathetic tone of sorrow, we all have something in common here." The air becomes even heavier. "We all have two minds, or more. Like the one with the wolf or the pseudodragon. Three, rather."
