    Hey all, this is Dextral.

    I'm curious about the ideas you all have to potentially improve the guild experience. This could include adding new features to guilds or improving existing ones.

    allow guilds to have one than one war going on at once

    me and my prime homie @Goden thought about this a while ago, and we figured that a good way to implement this, would to be add one more war for every level of guild star you have.

    guilds level 1-30 can only do one war, levels 31-40 can do 2, 41-50 can do three, you get the idea.

    i think this is a great way to both nerf sub guilds, which is a hot debate topic rn, and allow for guild with high numbers of warring members to be useful. im not going to go into full detail, but 1 guild with 10 members will forever get destroyed by 2 guilds with 3 members

    this gives great incentive to level up guilds passed 55, which is where you get the last defense mob

    I don't use alts but if this comes out then you should be able to attack 0 mobs because that's broken. you shouldnt be able to attack 1+ mob territorys because that would make subguild usage so much more op

    Custom mobs. Give people the ability to make their own mobs, would cost a ton of guild money to design them but would add so many interesting compositions and give guilds an identity.

    Wow then this idea might disincentivize putting 0 mob defenses which ultimately kills the fun of warring as a whole

    I do think Lego and goden have a damn good idea here

    -1/10 - this thread surely wouldn't be whole without those kinds of "meaningful" messages that may have took you less than 5 seconds to come up with.

    Consider elaborating "this"
    - in case you meant Lego's suggestion by "this", you might be unaware then that the warring system is flawed and Lego explained in a nutshell that a well estabilished guild can be beaten by two newbies which shouldn't be the case: all the work and effort put into the guild is not paid off (only via "strong" mobs that few people use, some stars to flex in WC1 Detlas with and an extra member slot... gg). This argument was elaborated well in several debating threads.
    - in case you meant the whole thread by "this", perhaps you should open your eyes as pretty much everyone; and by everyone I mean every single guild member that exists on this Minecraft server (and no, not only Fox, as you might haven't guessed) can make a suggestion here.
    - in case you meant something else than those two, go ahead and talk about it.

    A possible suggestion could be taking aspects of Runescape clans. Rather than guild levelling only being directly connected to wars and holding territories the introduction of a capping system where guild members can collect a certain number of resources each week to aid their guild.. This would be linked to professions with higher tier resources yielding more xp and such. This would encourage active participation for guild members outside of just warring. In addition may aid in some diversification of the current guilds available as many smaller guilds find it difficult to hold territories which limits their potential. This suggestion would also not infringe on guild wars as they would still remain the highest xp source for guilds. It would just be an alternative source of experience for guilds looking to level up and get that initial boost upon creation.

    Wars are fun and all, but there is no reward in it for the average player, my suggestion is this:


    War Achievements!

    Reward players for reaching certain milestones in their warring careers for the first time!


    FOR EXAMPLE:

    Millionaire!:
    Deal 1,000,000 dmg to mobs in a war - reward: 2le


    Decimator!:
    Deal 10,000,000 dmg to mobs in a war!
    reward: 8le


    OVERKILL!!!:
    Deal 30,000,000 dmg to mobs in a war!!
    reward: 16le!!


    The achievements can only be received once per-Player, not once per-Class so you can’t just farm the rewards!


    bonus examples!!!:

    GENOCIDE!!!:
    Kill a total of 1,000,000 mobs in wars!


    Veteran:
    Survive a total of 1,000 wars.
    (reward: Sword symbol next to your ingame name???)


    Naked Maniac!!!:
    Survive a War without wearing any armour!

    i think ingame achievements in general would be a great idea, it would be a great way to get braggings rights

    dunno how i feel about the achievement rewards tho

    Actually though, being able to make custom ranks with their own names and individual permissions would be pretty nice.

    okay seriously couple things:
    • multiple wars at once
    • war mob buffs (or just more mobs tbh)
    • Universally more guild player slots, if slightly
    • actually let the war community's input affect literally any aspect of the game's balancing

    ^Absolutely agree with this, stronger guilds with more dedicated warrers deserve to have an advantage over weaker ones. This would also fix the issue of subguilds and all that.

    I've had a few ideas for guilds on my mind for the last couple months, I just wanna post a quick overview of all the things here.

    Rejoin Decay
    - A cooldown whether its a 72 hours or 1 week that prevents any player from rejoining another guild immediately after leaving one

    Guild Vault
    - A guild bank that lets guild members essentially have a place to store items that they collect and could be shared with others
    - Making it only accessible within Cinfras at the Guild Hall as a means of balancing it and bringing more attention to that area in general
    - 'Trustees' rank system that can be given to guild members in order to grant them access to the guild vault
    - Of course currency should remain the same as it is now where players may contribute emeralds to their guild but unable to withdraw any of it

    Leaderboards
    - Some better representation of the information that can found within the API regarding wars especially for performance per individual
    - Making it viewable on the website stats with info like wars completed, success rate, etc.

    Strategies
    - Similar to this suggestion by @dotGenco a way of quick saving a preset in order to put up defences on territories more efficiently

    Territory Bounties
    - A system in order to incentivize small guilds to war for territories that are implemented through 'bounty boards' scattered across the world (Perhaps only in main cities)
    - On the bounty board there are several bounties that pop up throughout the day for random territories to claim that entices small guilds to actively war in order to level up their guild and gives a reason for large guilds to check the bounty board regularly to make sure none of their territories have a bounty
    - Every single guild can participate in a bounty and when a bounty expires the guild that has held the territory for the longest will receive the rewards for completing the bounty
    - When completing a bounty the guild that is victorious receives both experience and emeralds that are contributed directly to their guild
    - Rewards obtained from bounties should vary and maybe even have different rarities that determine some of them having larger rewards than others
    - In the case that the holder of the territory at the beginning of a bounty is the same guild as the one that is holding it at the expiration of a bounty then no rewards are obtained (Still unsure about this one)

    Perks
    - A system associated with giving guilds more of a sense in progression that introduces new perks that can be unlocked via perk points which are obtained by levelling up
    - Some of the perks may include territory multipliers for experience and emeralds gained, additional vault storage to store more items, additional strategy slots to give more freedom to war players when defending their territories, more guild member slots, soul point loss (How many soul points a guild member loses when they die in a territory that their guild is currently holding) and maybe defence discounts (How much of a discount the guild is given when defending a territory with mobs they hire)

    These are all just rough ideas and probably have some flaws as well, please do point them out if you find any!
