Warscream Is Now Multiplicative With Class Defense

    As of the Defense change a few weeks ago, Warscream is now multiplicative with class defense. Previously, Warrior would have 120% class defense + 20% from warscream = 140%. Now, it's 120% multiplied by 20% = 136%. It was in the changelog but was never really talked about.

    is this a nerf or a buff? I think this example shows a decrease but in others it would show a buff.

    It's a nerf when warriors use it, but it's a buff for when it's affecting archers and mages. If my math is right, this should apply regardless of the amount of Def.

    It's a nerf (not by much) to neutral damage resistance but a massive one to elemental damage resistance.

    Previously damage reduction never applied to elements, now it does. It's net zero leaning towards a buff.
