Been A While

Hey, I started playing wynn a few years back and got myself a nice lvl 86 archer, however! I havent played in ages bc off school, boredom and overall life. There have been a load of updates and I am completely lost with whats new and how to do stuff. I remember playing before the elemental dusts were introduces can anyone bring me up to speed.

also you get XP for discovering new areas now but I originially discovered most things but they didnt save so do I have to rediscover everything or is there a way to reverse it? Does the discovering do anything anyways?

I highly recommend you just start out a new class, the game changed so much over the years that it might be better to start fresh to rediscover everything. Of course you can pick up your old class whenever you want, but if you're confused on what to do right now, that should greatly help you

 

No, if he’s level 86 then he played after gavel. Honestly not much has changed in gavel in terms of mechanical changes, other than crafting which is optional.

 

Yeah, but I think he played before the gameplay update as well
If he wants sure he can keep his character without being really overly confused, but he'll have a bunch of things to catch up on

it's true that it's not as drastic as gavel update though
