Which 3 Li Bosses Are The Hardest? (poll Vote 3 Times!)

Simple question, which 3 Legendary Island bosses do you think are the hardest? Write what you think about certain bosses in the comments! Of course some bosses are meant to be harder than others but vote for how hard a boss is for their tier.

This should be based on what boss kills you the most rather than which has the longest fight.

 

Beyond Idol and Cybel I'm not really sure... Robob/Death, maybe...

 

Cybel kills me the most but I think Doctor Legendary is harder

funnily enough, while divzer completely shreds LI, it makes bosses that normally arent hard at all for literally any other build, actually really hard

yahya can kill you easy if youre not watching where you are, and CoW can stun lock you and kill you in seconds if youre not using spells very well

besides those two everything LI literally dies in seconds barring cybel, just because of its 2 invincible stages

Cybel is the hardest, but only because it relies almost completely on RNG bs to kill you. If it dupes (especially more than once), have fun. If it pushes you into a wall and then charges towards/meteors you, have fun. If a core pulls you into it or pulls you into a Cybel attack you otherwise would've avoided, have fun. These pulls/pushes resulting in you landing on a pressure plate, have fun. The only class where I'm really not scared of Cybel is warrior, and that's just because it's warrior neutral defense (although, due to the defense change, I might become less scared if I start using more defense orientated builds on other classes as well).

Doctor Legendary is mostly fair, and if it weren't for Cybel's haha ohko bs time, he would be the hardest. The first phase isn't that bad for any class outside of assassin/melee warriors even with that flamethrower spam out the ass, but it can become harder if he decides to be more erratic and throw in a tp every once in a while. The second phase is easy, since there's no real threat of dying in that phase. The third phase, however, is where the aforementioned difficulty comes into play. His push spell is very obnoxious, which is why I said "mostly" fair, but outside of that, his projectiles can be quite annoying to maneuver around, especially since getting near him might end in taking a meteor to the face or him just heavy charging. You can't completely corner him without having at least some risk involved, which keeps this phase from being ridiculously easy. Also, the tnt is irrelevant 99% of the time (the only time I've really paid any attention to the mechanic was during my FF build run of LI, where an explosion brought me down to exactly 1 hp).

Third goes to Death Metal. During his first phase, Death Metal himself is almost completely irrelevant. His minions, in particular the Guardian/Chained Beast, are all very obnoxious and threatening unless you dispatch them. Depending on what class you use though, most notably on archer due to bomb arrow's stupid aoe, you could just focus Death immediately and kill everything else in the process as a result. Phase 2 makes Death much more of a threat, and going near him without having him stunlocked is basically asking to get your health at least halved by his burst fire. Luckily, there is a cooldown for each time he does his melee, so with patience on the classes that require you to get closer, you can avoid or take minimal damage. He's much easier on archer than any other class due to the range and bomb/arrow storm burst, but maybe that's just me.

Oh yeah, and Snow Bear/Witch Doctor can get the killing blows on Death Metal, along with him sometimes shooting himself, meaning you have to fight him again. Fun times!

Actually I changed my mind screw yahya bot and his flipping 6 minute time wall when I'm trying to do anything else in my life.
There's a time to get high on shrooms but it's reserved specifically for Shattered Minds thanks.

 

Hm, I find Doctor Legendary's first phase to be the hardest, since he moves around so much. Second phase is a breeze of course.

 

I've not really had him move around all that much. He'll occasionally throw out a tp as said before, but outside of that he just seems to stay where he is. Maybe that's just because I always push him into a corner though.

yahya is hard because it takes all of my willpower to commit 300 seconds to doing nothing

 

Maybe I just got ridiculously lucky, but a fire mage with lv75 def pot (total like 130 def) can face-tank (literally, standing in his face, no stunlock no dodging) cybel pretty easily and outheal all his attacks, still dropping 8k meteor on lameme

That being said Cybel is still probably the hardest one

This will be fixed in a future update. Death Metal will be unable to be hurt by any mobs, only the player.

 

Idol isn't hard to me, its grindy.
It's the single longest boss fight in li for me, and I imagine it's the same for most people beyond yahya.
I feel the different phases don't do enough to feel different, it's the pinnacle of "Not a boss, its a health bar."

My top 3 are
1) Cybel (wow big surprise)
2) Doc
3) Death metal

Idol is def not in the top 3. It's an hp sponge with like 2 semi threatening forms. The only advantage it really has is the elemental coverage throughout his forms and his tp spam and charge spam forms. This isn't top 3 material and honestly bob is harder than idol. Bob has a pretty good variety of spells and hardhitting moves. He isn't as much as an hp sponge as he moves around quickly with charge while idol has only 2 forms that move around quickly and aren't total hp sponges. Bob also can deal pretty hefty damage compared to most of the idol forms. (Ex: baby form)

Also no way that idol beats doc and death metal. Doc's gimmick has potential to one shot (tnt) but also he has potential rng to push or pull you into that tnt. His flamethrower hurts and overall he's a beefy boss with a spice of bullshit rng dying to tnt.

Death metal is different compared to idol, in which it's like idol but with all the forms at once while one boss has 3 phases. It can definitely overwhelm you and death's multihit in combination of being swarmed by all the minibosses can screw you over. I would say less hard than doc, as doc can do pretty damn hard dps just by himself, but you can kill the minibosses which makes the fight easier. (but they still respawn if you're slow)
