    How does loot bonus affect mob drops?

    I want to kill ingredient mobs to get their ingredients (example: bob the zombie dropping bobs tear). Do I have a higher chance if I have 300% loot bonus? If not, what does loot bonus even affect with mobs then

    As far as I know:

    more Lootbonus - > more drops (but not better rarity) / in chests

    more Lootbonus - > more drops and better stuff (rarity) / from mobs

    Lootbonus only directly increases the quantity of drop, not the quality. However, this in turn increases the quantity of higher quality drops. So yes, you will have a higher chance with more lootbonus.
