Community Poll: What Do You Think About The Elemental Revamp?

Whatever you pick, especially if it’s the two that mention that they need work, voice your reasons as to why you chose that.

 

I'm kind of on both sides on the whole thing, I suck at giving proper feedback and constructive criticism which is why I don't often reply to threads like that, but I can see why people would like it and why they wouldn't, I do admit that they definitely need to reconsider the changes on some items.. I don't see a lot of people talking about weathered but the changes to it are so weird to me.. Why the hell did it need attack speed? And why a damage nerf?? I'm probably biased because I used it for 3 years but come on.. out of everything they could've changed, why change weathered like this..

It's cool. And I'm glad they didn't go the route of reworking steamjet and other items into weird awkward items who's purposes are vastly different than what they were for years.

The changes are much more drastic this time, and I'll have to waste 20-30 le per to acclass justcommodate for the changes. Which will make it so that 2/3 classes will be unplayable because I lack the funds to support them now.

However, the actual effect on gameplay and items is undeniably nice and the buffs and nerfs are mostly good. It's just the implications on how I have to burn more le that pisses me off. Because I won't ever be able to gather enough le to make all my classes changed builds, let alone save up for better items or mythics.

Overall, I think they should maybe give us free le just to fund us because of their changes. (Although that would never work practically).

So since there is nothing anyone can do about it, the only thing that could have been better is for them to be more transparent about it and let us know beforehand.

RTD most likely won't add big money quests. Dern? Possibly, even then the big quest in Dern won't give big money since its in, yknow, Dern.

 

Are you assuming the people of Dern are not financially stable? You never know they can all be wearing air pods and Gucci sweaters.

 

It's Dern. They've had zero contact with the outside world, and have been getting fisted by the Eye or whatever. Emeralds are currency only in Gavel, Wynn, and Corkus. Dern is the exact opposite, especially since it doesn't have any Corruption or natural riches like Gavel or Wynn do.

I seriously doubt there's any real civilization that hasn't been annihilated already in Dern left that would somehow develop itself properly to use currency, somehow find Emeralds in that place, decide that it would be good for currency, and then start making enough to actually have a high payout for a quest.

 

First quest of Dern:

"Yo adventurer no cap I lost my dripping kicks down the street in the hood can you legit go and yeet them back for me."

It's sort of hard to when you're a sneakerhead and you hear people say this shit seriously daily

 

looked through changelogs after coming back from being away for a while, here are opinions:
wtf morph horrible now, didn't it already get nerfed last balances
Builds are going to die instantly now after changes drop (not fun to find a new build)
adventurer's set buff, like ok but tbh it was already great for the level u unlock it at
skill points gonna be a lot tighter on builds now, veery annoying (a lot more reqs)
More hive armor? Like ok but honestly y (ik they want options for all archetypes but c'mon I think more endgame items non-hive would have been better to cover these gaps, and maybe just rebalance hive gear instead...)

 

Might be an underrated opinion but I think the mythic boots requirements are way too high.

I completely agree, quite a few people do too. Slayer and Warchief seem to have pretty crazy reqs, and other ones too but they're the ones I give the most shits about.
