Hey nerds! I've been kinda dead around the forums and I got the Cow's blessing to post this soo lately I've been doing multiple QOL and bug fix changes to quests and I was wondering what you would like to see change in the quests we currently have and what you'd like to see in future quests... This is not for you to send full quest concepts, just areas of the game you'd like to see explored more or some type of battle/puzzle that you really liked and would like to see again.

This is just a thread so I can talk to peeps about quests to be honest and start some HEALTHY DISCUSSIONS <3

ALSO, try not repeating what you know we already know about like unskippable dialogue and the Dnd organ fight

So yeah hopefully with this we'll be able to see what to change and what to do in the future (As always no promises uwu)

make qira hive more of a dungeon instead of just waves of mobs like TOA, I'd love if it was a revisited massive dungeon with each floors enemies scattered throughout the dungeon floor, and the boss sealing off the entrance to the next floor

I'd love to see more quests where you get to make choices, such as Iron Heart II and the Aldorei Questline. Right now the only choices you can make are for what reward you get, but if there's some way to make a quest diverge halfway through or something that would be incredible. Quests like that would be a good incentive to play the game on a second class.

I'm also a fan of open-ended quests like ???, and I think more of them would be fun (although obviously not as long and challenging!)

while this sounds like a good idea in writing, not everyone would want to start new classes, and those people would almost certainly want to experience the most content possible, maybe if the choices you make didn't influence what quests you could do drastically that would work fine

A difficult boss fight in which the "boss" is a stationary object that has no offensive capabilites by itself while having a very high amount of health; while its "minions" consist of miniboss (or higher)-level enemies guarding said object (the minions are the main threat in this scenario). To me I think it would be an interesting and unique boss fight.

While I got the idea from experiencing something like this while playing on another server, I don't think a boss fight like this exists in Wynncraft yet

I would like to see more reoccurring characters (such as Maxie) who have better dialogue and a strong connection to the lore.

Also, the majority of the current quests are skipped over on new playthroughs. I think that there should be some sort of main storyline, or at least a connected path of quests that are interesting to enhance the replayability of wynncraft.

I'd like for there to be more intresting bossfights. You said once that you were going to do it (In that one Gavel-related contest, I think)
Right now every boss is just a punching bag with a few spells. But some can be made unique.

For example, Orange Wybel is a good example. It has multiple forms, including the unique "rage" forms, and the arena itself is a trap.
Charon from underworld crypt is another good example. You don't actually fight it, but still control the spawning of the troops. Sadly, it's too easy.

More unique and intresting bossfights and less magic punching bags. Rest of the system is really well done, in most cases.

I would love to see quests that develop the lore of pre existing characters without much story, like Martin (I think) from Deja Vu, Siegfried, Orphion (I know there’s lore for him in the taproot quests but his story is incomplete), Ba’kal, the guy with the inverted tower in Sky Islands (bad with names), etc. I would take quests that further establish pre-existing characters or settings than quests that introduce new characters or settings.

I also love the suggestions about boss fight modifications and multiple branches in quests.

In my opinion, there should be some characters (including the NPC's from the tutorial) that keep turning up. This would give the player some sort of connection to characters that way. At the moment, there's no real reason to care for most characters because once you finish their quest, you never see them again

    The two towers of Gavel.

Grian said ages ago in his Gavel livestream/video that those two towers near Cinfras would have a quest explaining what happened, but for whatever reason there isn't a quest there and I feel betrayed.

Hmm can you explain? Do you mean one room with all the mobs and a boss room per floor? And only mob challenges or other things like dungeons have?

Yeah that's awesome, would you like to see both choices lead to good endings, more than 2 choices and being able to fail like failing a minigame automatically leads to a bad ending?

At least for 1.19, Dern’s obscurity is not going to be needed anymore, as we’re going to now have access to it. I know this isn’t quest related (well, it is DIALOGUE related) but maybe more NPCs could sometimes talk about how they’ve noticed a dark force protruding from the gates near the mines? Just a thought.

Or even during quests, people won’t be as secretive when mentioning the dark province.

Examples of quests/stages that currently have and don't have this would help, also develop your comment so it's easier to know what direction you want us to go ^^

I'd like to see a few more quests taking place in areas you've been before, but in a more story-based setting where you get more lore about said area. I know we have Temple of the Legends and Bob's Reincarnation, but those are about the only ones we've got (aside from The Envoy pt I being hard to miss when first reaching Selchar) and they're really just glorified gathering quests with a boss fight at the end. Ideas on how would be having to use the Temple of Time to go back in time again and have to go through ancient parts of Wynn to get to Gavel/Corkus/Dern, or perhaps some kind of ahem detective mystery taking you all over the province, or even just saving someone out of an old dungeon or something.

I’m assuming he was asking for more quests related around Death’s Realm, as a single quest brought up so many questions about lore.
