    Hey fellow Wynncraft players!

Today I wanted to start a thread to discuss which mythic bow is the true runner up to Strati, which is for the most part, the best mythic bow.

Let's have a discussion since I'm curious as what most the community thinks. Most seem to be mixed between Spring or Divzer, some even say Freedom or GMA.

Freedom, GMA and Divzer are both insanely good but hard to use, Spring is overrated IMO, -thunder dmg = bad arrow storm and Ignis is tank archer lmao. No need to mention why Az doesnt compare.

At the moment, Freedom is probably the best mythic bow. It has pretty good damage, overall good stats when built properly (high hp, mr, ele defs), and it's very easy to use. Grandmother is also pretty good, but the -hpr makes it kinda annoying to use (even though you CAN counter it). You can also build for 1hp rage but that's really hard to use. Divzer is honestly underrated, but the -agi REALLY holds it back. Spring is outclassed by crafted water bows (which are the real no.2 bows), and az is shit.

Agreed, and well said. Regarding Divzer, I do find it non meta and simply less effective to play archer without agil.

Not to mention Spring has an awkward str req.

Can you send an example of a "Freedom built properly?" How should you powder your Freedom?

    Okay so
Grandmother makes you lose health and fixing that is like half a gma build, but it's very strong in return.
Divzer is actually a fucking powerhouse, built-in mana steal, and the agility doesn't even matter that much because anima & cinderchain exist and everything's probably dead before it gets close.
Spring is actually just water Hive with less damage and more mana which translates to very similar damage output, probably the only underwhelming mythic bow.
Ignis is underrated, defense archer of course being a bit of a meme but it gets pretty good damage for being tanky.
Freedom just has everything, high damage, mana regen, bit of health, and everything wrapped up nicely with some comparetively low requirements.
That being said, Strati is only being put so high up because every single archer as addicted to walk speed
i started an archer class recently, i'm worried
[edit: i know we're not even talking about az but it's not as bad as people make it out to be, it's a great user of thunder/fire and probably the best tri-element weapon in the game [edit 2: hold on, water/fire az thunder shajaea doublewield sounds dope]]

Anima + Cinderchain are incredibly strong thunder boosters and make a (high) defense investment worth it.
Most, if not all water damage builds use strength for Elder Oak Roots, Aquamarine or Sacramentalia.
I personally like WTTW, for curse with the highest damage. Freedom builds usually use Libra, Intensity, Megabyte, something like Memento or Capricorn for mana and then either high damage or high skill points boosters.

This is a standard Freedom build - https://wynndata.tk/s/YTkmUO (not completely optimized)
I personally go pure thunder on Freedom (cause I like hitting high damage bombs), but it's way more efficient to go for 2 waters for curse, then 2 thunder for damage.

Personally I'd say Divzer is slightly better than Freedom, once you have enough practice with manually dodging stuff instead of relying completely on agility like most archers (admittedly this does take awhile) you start really not having too much of an issue with the lack of ability. For close combat you can just stay out of melee range (or arrow shield for knockback) and you just use that aforementioned manual dodging to evade most range.

Plus, build it properly and you can get insane sustain on it, with well over 8k healing from one chain lightning usage (which is frequently up typically due to atlas being used in like every good divzer build).

Freedom is definitely a very good bow, but imo when used properly Divzer just becomes more worthwhile.

for an archer who has used spring, freedom and gma, I'll put what I feel about these 3 bows.

    SPRING
Overrated. Its damage per bomb is significantly lower than even hive bow. The extra 3/4 mana regen doesn't make up to the damage output of hive bow. Since most of the damage of archer comes from arrow storm, the -thunder% puts an extra kick into how weak spring is compared to hive bow.

    FREEDOM
This bow is certainly better than Spring. It gives everything that anyone wants. Its damage is better than hive bow, It gives walk speed, health, skill points, elemental damage, and most importantly, mana regen. The bonuses the bow gives is significant enough that you can build it pretty glassy and still able to make use of it. It will totally roll over any mob with 2 elemental weakness, but if your opponent has 2 or more elemental resistance, it's better to use hive bow instead.

    GRANDMOTHER
Gma is severely underrated. Most of the time you can counter gma's -hpr and still dish out a lot of damage provided if you use defence. Even without the use of defence, you can still counter the -hpr using the very limited agility items with +hpr (without boreal). And if you manage to do that, you can still do at least 14k average bomb arrows and 69k arrow storms ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). You can abuse rage as much as you can and still keep all elemental defences positive. Overall it's one of the best bows aside of Stratiformis.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have also heard a rumour that players use gma for melee for whatever reason. Stop it. Get some help.
I personally wanted to try out Divzer and also have a pretty solid build for it, but I lack the funds for a somewhat permanent investment.

I generally agree that Spring is overrated, but I don't think it's worse than Hive Bow. Largely agree on Freedom and Grandmother. Honestly, I think Strati is a little overrated - 12k-13k bombs is nice, but not particularly off for an air bow (comparable to Freedom, for example).

Probably Divzer/Freedom/Gma. Divzer is really easy to use even with no agility thanks to archer's easy stunlocking capabilities. If you build at least any form of hp with it you'll be fine. Freedom is the jack of all trades type of bow thanks to it's rainbow damage, letting it easily spell spam and abuse elemental weaknesses with ease (as well as being able to deal with rainbow defense mobs relatively well). Gma is nutty when used with rage abuse, dishing out average damage higher than that of even Divzer, but the -hpr can get annoying after a while.

Spring's just a slightly better water hive and that's basically it. Ignis, while underrated, isn't as good as the others due to it's lower damage output even with all that health to take hits from enemies.

Actually who am I kidding Corrupted Witherhead's Bow with easier access to curse/courage is the best mythic bow 100%.

I agree with everything in the thread so far except for this. That's a very unoptimized freedom build IMO. You've got way too many high SP items, and BM is a complete waste. Libra and Freedom should be all the rainbow SP you need. Maybe prowess or DFN or a prism, but no more than 1 of those for extra SPs. That should net you 40-60 extra SP for another high SP item combo to get more WS or Damage or Defs. Generally the damage is where I'd go for, but WS and Defs are useful too. Refer to this thread for some suggestions https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/improve-this-freedom-build.248607/

I said that it was an unoptimized build in my post xd. I mostly stick with that build since I use a lot of crafted gear, and to hit 2mr bombs + super high agility.

I don't know if I agree with that.

While Divzer might have been balanced around the idea that agility was the only way to provide survivability to archer, Ignis was extremely powerful due to the shortcomings of tank archers:

Not only does Ignis provide amazing bonuses as a whole, but it has the lowest requirement of any 90+ mythic weapon in-game (with a marginal 80 def requirement). While Ignis' damage isn't outstanding, this is easily compensated by the fact that this is the archer class we're talking about, which can easily dish out enough DPS to compensate for low single-hit damage.

They're both really damn good now. Whether they will both need to be re-evaluated to be balanced according to these bug fixes, I'm not sure yet, and haven't done enough testing. I'm just glad that Stratiformis isn't blatantly top-tiering now, and that other mythic bows can be just as effective, albeit in a different manner.

    New List:
Strati -Sanic is still probably what most people will be using
Div -It's now reasonable and surpasses strati's damage easily
Free -Same as before but it can use defense items effectively too
Ignis -Usable and probably fun too
GMA -Damage at the cost of HP? No thanks
