Armouring and Tailoring (Hey, free items to buff me and my army)

I shout “KILL THEM!” and point at the two Iboju’s

Your mechs need to acquire raw materials first, so you send them off into the woods to gather some wood.

You head to the armorsmith to see what she has for sale.

"Mo'in, commander. I suppose you are to inquire what I have for sale?" The armorsmith is selling the following:

Steel Helmet (+5 HP)
Swordfish Scales (+9 HP)
Heavy Crystal Boots (+14 HP, -3 AS)

"Yarrr!!" Your army lets out a war scream as they charge the two exiles.

The first exile manages to duck out of the way, but the second isn't so lucky and he is gored by your spears.

In revenge, the first exile cuts through your offending army and smashes a heavy wooden club on your head. (-6 HP)

Your swordsmen plunge their weapons into the first exile's chest. He falls into his death.

You and your army gain +3 AS as xp.

Salyti has 19/25 HP and 15 AS.

"Hello, soldier. Actually, lots of soldiers! If all of you are going to climb the treacherous Peaks, you better forge a lot of climbing gear for all of your men. The materials you have given me now could maybe only suffice for three fourths of your army."

 

I head back to troms to let my army recover from the scuffle

can i do things like "i go train my army in strategy and tactics, and then go look around for weapons and armor to buy"

Yes since those two actions aren't too humongous

That's right, there's now some actual physical currency, upon "great" request... (although some merchants may still offer you a quest for their selling)

Can i also request being able to set your spawn point if you die to the last place you slept(not rested) at? Because I don't really want to crawl back through lleviagar to get to maro peaks if i die

A friendly scavenger has come back from his mining route and has some iron to sell.

If you die, you're going to still spawn in Aldorei since that's the last "friendly" place you've been, but when you decide to come back, it'll only take up one post, not four or five like it did your first time to Maro.

While you spend time creating your formation, the spider strikes you seeing her advantage. (-11 HP)

Now that your soldiers are ready, they violently stab the spider until it starts to curl up into a ball. (43 damage)

The Mother Spider tries to heal herself, but fails to.

As the Spider is low on health, you dive in for the kill with your own weapon. (38 damage)

The Spider lets out a shrill cry of death, as it falls. You gain +6 AS as xp.

Jellybean 2007 has 11/30 HP and 44 AS.

"Yes... it will be cheap I assure you. I just have one task for you. My... relatives' house in Iboju has caught fire, and they are old so they would need some small favors from a commander like you. Don't worry, I'm not asking you to rebuild the whole house, just a small favor for them. Oh--and before you ask 'well you're an adventurer yourself, why don't you help them' I suppose you haven't seen my... injury." The adventurer pulls up the sleeve of his left leg to reveal a horrifying gory mesh of limbs and skin. "It's all I ask of you..."

 

Sternly I tell him “Tell me what the favour is, then we will talk.”
