[d&d] Masin Campaign [full]

I stop advancing and give a deep, slow chuckle.
“You’re a crack shot, I’ll give you that, but a mess like that is made by the power of a good arm.”
I raise my blood-covered gauntlet.
“Now, I’m tired of masked folk around here, so why don’t you take yours off and explain yourself, first.”
The sentence is less of a question than the wording implies.

 

"..."

"Perhaps your patience has run out because you're overwhelmed? That's common, yes."

"I believe it's best you not overestimate yourselves and in turn not underestimate others. That dead man must have taught you that just now."

"I can give you an explanation as to why, now that I understand what's happened here. I'd rather it be outside."
"Red cloak" pulls his arms into his cloak, shifting them around within. They reappear without any weapons.

"It'll kill you."

"Red cloak" gives a shrug, and if his mask could show emotion, it would be one of amusement.
"I would if I could, you crook!"
He brings his arm out of the cloak and violently tears at the mask, which by the looks of it is not a mask but his own face. It doesn't come off.

 

"I... Alright. Shall I head outside, then?"

 

The man turns to the door again.
"I'll be expecting you."
He leaves.

 

I put my weapons in their respective places and stand up gingerly.

I say to the others:
”What do you guys say about a small surprise for this one?”

 

I follow him.

“No.”

 

I will pick up my broom and follow as well.

"We don't even know whose side he's on!"

 

”You are boring.” I smile.

”Nothing about sides, this one.”

I draw my hands over my face. When I take them away, it looks like his mask-face.
”Uhh step away from that pen, young man- bird- whatever” I point sarcastically at Piplue

 

I laugh, once. "I'm damn tired of people trying to kill me and failing."

I follow him outside.

 

Somewhat Jokingly: "Well good to know we have a veteran there, I feel like I'm going to be having a lot of that soon."

 

"Hehe. Staying positive, huh?"

 

”Always!”

Also I’m gonna sleep soon so I won’t be able to partake in any dialogue during the night.

 

"That's a good thing. Most of the time."

 

Piplue retrived his turrent and grabs a flashbang befor follwing

 

Blue are you okay?

 

Fatigue, small keyboards, autocorrect, and my awful typing lead to stuff like this

Alright, everyone walks outside.

Looking around, you're in a fairly large town, though not large enough to call a city. It looks like you're near the center of it, a large plaza area with a view to the ocean. Taking a closer look at the fantastic view, the moon and stars blanket the quiet seas in the distance. An ocean breeze blows in from this opening in the town's odd linear layout. The shores and a small bit farther out house a jumbled mess of houses, docks, wooden platforms, watchtowers, and others. If someone were looking on from an even greater distance than you are now it'd look like a giant island of sea-wreck debris. The buildings in the town are quiet. The lights peeking from the windows are dimmed or not there at all.

The man in the cloak is standing very, very still, looking out to sea.
"Red cloak": "Assuming no one touched that pen, we can discuss matters calmly out here."
His face-mask-thing has adapted to the colors of the night sky with specks of the wooden buildings' hues. He turns his head to address everyone.
"Well, an introduction from you all?"

 

I smile broadly and my shape suddenly starts flickering.
I assume pure white skin and deep black eyes with no iris. Shiny black hair fall to my cheekbones, and a pair of white horn nubs protrude from my forehead. The smile reveals pointed canines.
I'm wearing a long brown trenchcoat with a red interior over a lighter brown tunic, as well as a pair of black pants with patched knees and buckled leather boots. Around my neck is a silver chain with a blood-red stone pendant. You think you see a tail shifting under the coat.
"Iados Valgra" I tip my hat

 

"Er, Aelia Ivaear."
She seems... Oddly anxious with the whole situation.
