I Just Want To Take Some Time To Appreciate The Dedication Of The People Working For This Server

My Wynncraft journey began in the fourth quarter of 2014. Back then, Wynn was the sole continent, but the server still contained a lot of quests and interesting fights. It didn't take long before I noticed how exquisite this server really is -- to this day I still haven't found a server that rivals Wynncraft. I became mesmerised by the beautiful storyline of the province of Wynn, and I instantly knew I would spend a lot of time on this server. The Administrators, Moderators, and members of the Content Team have all worked hard to create a server like this. I cannot fathom how such a detailed server can actually exist, but here we are.

One day, I was minding my own business when I took notice of posts about a large and upcoming update to the server. I knew I had to pay close attention, as from what I saw it was clear this server's staff were prioritising quality over quantity, something that is very important in order for a server to thrive. Once Gavel was released, I had some doubts about the new mechanics, but I quickly noticed how much better Wynncraft had become. A whole new province, Gavel, filled with beautifully written stories that expanded Wynncraft's lore by a large margin, and more interesting bossfights.

It didn't take long before the server was updated again, this time adding the province of Corkus to the server that also helped elongate the never-ending storyline of the server. I got surprised by the sheer amount of dedication this server's staff have to their creations. Even though the timespan between the Gavel and Corkus updates isn't very long, the staff were still able to focus on quality a lot more than quantity.

Now that the Economy update has been out for a while, it is clear that the staff here listen to the community a lot. They gave the users what they wanted -- new professions and a fix to the economy in the game. Once again, my thoughts that the Content Team and other staff members are very professional with managing the server were proven to be true. I didn't expect much when I first started the server, but the Gavel update proved to be a slippery slope that enabled other high-quality updates to be rolled out due to the amount of positive feedback and reviews it received. I got more than what I wished for, and I am happy I did so.

Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful server filled with exceptionally good content. When I think about it, when I play on Wynncraft I don't really feel like I am playing Minecraft anymore. Wynncraft feels like a game on its own, and when the staff and Content Team manage to create such a great game within a game, that's when you know the game and people behind it are good -- and I mean really good. Once again, thank you so much for creating this server, and I hope this server continues to live on for years to come. I certainly think the Content Team and the staff members are able to do that, and the previous updates just proves that thought correct. I feel like I have explored much of the server already, but that is obviously false as there is still a ton of content I haven't taken a look at.

These kind of threads are nothing new, obviously, but I still wanted to show how thankful I am for being able to experience the joy of Wynncraft.

I honestly agree with a lot of this, Wynncraft is in my opinion the best Minecraft RPG sever in the world! Some of the builds are fantastic (all of the old ones mind you) and the quests are great!

    Although...

I disagree with some of this to be honest. Staff listening to the community? Not one suggestion have I seen them add, or very rarely.

Also you prize the amazing and "beautiful storyline" - What beautiful storyline? There's barely any story, it's not like it's written by a proper author or anthing XD, it's passable at best, and lacking and of poor quality at worst.

Also what on earth possesed the obviously demented builders to remake half moon island??? That was the best flipping place out there XD, but some crappy generic island elsewhere or not at all in my Wynn!

Anyway, negatives over, thank you for writing this! It is very nicely written and you obviously put a lot of time and effort into it.

It doesn't have to be written by a proper author. Lore isn't going to be all written in one place. They are scattered for you to piece together in item lore, quests, NPCs, discoveries and so on. Lore is scattered, it's not supposed to be spoon-fed to you in an "author-written book" or so.

Passable at best? Sure, it's not some like Lord of the Rings level lore, but there is sizeable, good lore. There's even a thread on it somewhere. Lore is expansive, most areas in Gavel have their own individual lore too.

Go read that lore thread and come back with the same energy...

I feel that a lot of the lore is fairly bad, some is good though, I'll admit that. But the trouble is the lore which is good they never build upon by more than one quest.
And no I do not like the repetetive, predictable and cliched new Drogun storyline. Some of it is fairly decent though, so perhaps I was a tad harsh with "passable".

Three examples, I said very rarely.
I have seen at least fifty examples which wouldn't harm the game, but thank you for pointing those out
