he kinda tries to gently push down your bow in a "Please don't shoot me manner"

 

Yevor points his sword at Althaios and shouts a battle cry.
Yevor: "This is for Caligo!"

 

"You're... Not a doppleganger, right..?"

 

Althiaos:"Of course not"
Althiaos:"But one did slam me in the 'ead at the mil I woke up bound in a closet gave those poor people quit a fright when I started bangin around in there"

Althiaos:"Where'd you put the doppleganger's boddy I need to know right now"

 

Alas stab Althaios with the shoe

 

"Uh... I froze it and smashed it to pieces..."

 

Althiaos:"I need my equipment that's all, more specifically my bag of holding there's something very, very important in there I need it"

Althiaos searches around the camp in a frenzy befor finding his bag

He let's out a tripumphent "AHA!"
and starts moving his gear around to fit where he wants then he starts reaching into his bag and finds a book

Alth:"That's not it"

He throws it behind him without looking

this repeats a bit until there's an even more excited squak

he pulls out a dark edgy book and holds it above his head happily

 

"As inane as ever I suppose..."

I check out the book he threw away.

 

It's a guide on making midnight poison

althiaos:"This here, this book"
Althiaos:"Is the key to preventing evile from EVER rising again."

Althiaos kinda cringes
Althiaos:"Becuase it's a book based on making magic items with souls..."

 

Yevor doesn't stop charging at you for a few more seconds, and even after he stops, he still has his sword pointed towards you warily.

 

"Er... I... Suppose it's good for... Something, at least..?"

"Anyway, I'll decide whether to keep or burn this later."

I pocket the book.

 

Althiaos *sighs*
althiaos:"Yevor i didn-"
Althiaos:"Wait what happened to caligo?"

 

I rise, slowly and kind of menacingly, from my trance and walk slowly to greet you.

"Elaborate."

Alas still tries to stab Althaios with the shoe and then realize :

Althiaos:"So evile is a necromancer ya? What's to say he hasn't cast clone? Or has some evil entity waiting to revive im?"
Althiaos:"If I can make ANY magic trinket with this 'ere book we can capture evile's soul and destroy it to the item his soul is destroyed in the process and BAM!"
Althiaos:"Just like that he's dead for good. no cheeky revival's or anythin he's gone destroyed"

 

"I'll allow it as long as we burn the book after we're done."

 

I give you a hard look.

"... maybe. You haven't given me a lot of reason to trust your ideas in the past."

"What... what does the process entail?"

I shake my head, muttering "I can't believe I'm considering this."
