I'll let @Enhanced_Human tell everyone to wake up in case he wants to do something dramatic with it.

 

Erevan sits cross-legged and goes into a trance, looking glumly down at Caligo's corpse.

 

During the night, at a time in which only Erevan ( @Paradoxical ) and Heat ( @Riven ) would be conscious due to their unique sleeping arrangements, a lone raven shrieks once, before swooping down and landing right on Caligo’s forehead.
It pecks at the body, once...
Twice...
And a few seconds after the third peck, my body jerks upright with a start, as life revisits my eyes.
I scramble, pressing my hands to my face in search of something.

Being so close, you immediately notice, as I jerk upright, that my face no longer has a mouth.

 

Oh I'm curious to see how much nightmare fuel Enhanced will put into this description

Aww, I was expecting some horrific detail of the mouth stitching up or something

 

A bit too descriptive for something that happens in the dark for my taste.

 

To his credit, Erevan manages not to scream, but jerks back in surprise, shuffling back on his elbows in a less-than dignified fashion.

I scramble to my feet, swatting at the raven after it caws once more. It flies around, just out of my reach, before my eyes settle on you.
I start marching my way closer to you as the raven lands on my head.

 

I rise to my feet, if only to try and gain some semblance of control via the height difference.

"Is that you, then?" I ask quietly. "Or just the plague taking your shell? I... feared such a thing might happen."

 

I flip you my middle finger, before gesturing for you to come lower so I can whisper to you.

I look at you very suspiciously before leaning down slowly.

 

I grab you by the shirt and try to shake you as the raven caws right next to your ear.

I don’t believe you can respond via telepathy; Spyro and I didn’t really go over it.

 

I wince and try to shove you off.
