Archer/Hunter Help With Build

hello. I'm trying to do LI and I keep getting fucked by cybel and co. so I need help with my build

idk which is better. Any recommendations? I don't really care if this is an air, rainbow, water, etc. build but I'm looking for high mr and high ws so I can beat LI. No LI because I can't beat it and no mythics please. :)

as for the builds, the first one is pretty good, but could be better by using megabyte i/o vanguard and using dhydro necklace i/o royal stormy, plus switching third eye to unravel which you already did
the second one has really bad defenses (including -150 with thunder and fire, no wonder cybel really fucks you up :>), even for an air build, sagittarius + capricorn is just too much. you could use change capricorn for steamjets, use the ephemeral with gale's freedom, or just switch out hive bow for gale's force and use hephaestus-forged greaves for some sweet defenses.

as for other builds, i guess i'll drop drusers water build and throw a standard one with that

Honestly, your build should be able to solo LI, you just need better luck and practice. Here’s my build that’s just slightly different than your build: https://wynndata.tk/s/Fp7Uhu

Seems like low mana regen, but it’s not when you take into account mana cycling: try using storm, bomb, and repeat. Use shield when cycle is about to use a spell and then run to the other side of the arena. Make sure you keep moving and try to avoid staying on one side for too long. Don’t worry too much about the gold plates, your bombs can pretty much one shot them.

Note that armor is powdered but I haven’t even powdered mine. Replace Diamond Steam Ring with one of your rings from your build and you should be fine.

Doesn’t cybel only deal neutral damage other than like 1 fire dmg and 1 thunder dmg?

You can take a look at my signature below for a full list of my builds, though I warn you, these are mainly geared towards more to glass cannon and is slightly outdated.

 

At that point, it's not the build, it's you. The second should be more than capable of beating LI.

 

Chug pots, remember that arrow shield will trigger pressure plate. If cybel gets close, arrow shield to blind him and run away.

 

Do you have any tips for cybel? I literally went from 12k to 0k without even knowing what happened. I have no idea what hit me or how I died, and the wiki doesn't really have anything on him either. The other bosses aren't that hard (idk about dr legendary), the most difficult one besides cybel is probably the doll

 

For Cybel, you play your best and hope you don't get unlucky. As Archer, use low-angle Escapes to stay away from Charge, and come closer for Storms when he isn't casting. There isn't a build that will make Cybel any easier.

Btw how exactly do elemental defences work? if I have -100 fire defence, am I taking +100 fire dmg for every fire attack I take, or 100%, or is the 100 inputed into a formula?

 

For mobs, it's just 100 more. Which is why it's practically irrelevant against Cybel.

The way i play archer is aggressive but also protective, just always have a arrow shield up and try to ise arrow strom as much as possible. I did solo Li without to much defences, soo you can probably do it, just adjust the play style. And you know cybel has a sort of stage where he just runs ay you and tries to explode, in that stage, not damage him just runnnnn..
