Dungeons And Dragons Campaign [full] [discontinued On The Forums]

I hand you the book and start travelling.

 

So to recap.


Minor god of light no one has ever heard of gave some of yall a quest. “There’s an undead plague spreading from the west because of some dark goddess and her general Evile (who is from Yevor’s backstory), and I’m telling a few random people on the super far away east side of the region because… reasons… and yeah go and stop it”. So yall get a high on adventure and go do that. Intro challenge with library except no one knows what a beholder is even after I tell you. Fight a zombie gnoll, being the only undead you actually see for a while. Go to some town that I think is irrelevant. Go to some town with dark fey assassins. One of the dudes drop, you pick up another soon enough. Also some market thing, Alas gets marked by Lilith I think after she tries to screw Florfy but realizes he’s celestial. Go to some lumberjack town, I think Ti Lin gets marked by Baba Yaga. Alas gets a shovel. A redcap rekts some of you. Go to forest through cave dungeon or something because forest fey are getting angry and attacking lumberjacks and find cultist and two shadow dragons. That encounter was 100% balanced, with no problems WHATSOEVER AT ALL. You just suck or something. I am perfect at DMing and balancing encounters. Anyway, you also met this like ghost tiefling crazy dude named Edicius who wants to kill Lilith because long-winded explanation. He ends up ex-machina saving you because you guys failed at this totally normally balanced encounter. Then after his ex machina you STILL almost die from this super easy amazingly balanced no problem encounter, so I ex machina you with Fey. Anyway, you go back and the village is burned. You find a survivor, a girl named Alice who is totally not based off a character from The Last Apprentice or anything. She thinks the village burned because of her, because she accidentally made herself a warlock of Baba Yaga even after her parents told her about stranger danger. Yikes. Also a ton of Wisps are taunting her and feeding off of her pain. Turns out the village was actually burned by Lilith. Yeah I’m gonna blame Alas on that one. Also Ti’Lin’s daddy instincts kick in and he forms a father-daughter relationship with Alice. You then go to the city of Seneca and meet Para, who you save from some not-racistly-named Bugbears. You also meet a gnome with a chicken, but he leaves. You go to the city, and the party splits up. Half of you investigate a Dao crime lord, where you meet everyone’s favorite character, Althaios. Alice gets a sprite familiar. The other half gets some herb or something from a nearby swamp, and ends up fighting ghouls. One of the OGs, Nathaniel, leaves so I make a bunch of Ghouls kidnap him. Anyway some plot stuff happens, and you realize that Alas and Kyelas can’t leave the city. Oh, also you meet Heat and Stabber along the way, but Stabber leaves. You find out some wizard dude built the city in the shape of a binding sigil that traps extraplanar entities. Also he used the deck of many things to enchant the city to be unbreakable to the sigil never gets destroyed. But he never pulled the last card and went insane. Someone (I think Ti Lin?) pulls the last card and summons death. Death gets rekt in a 1v1 because he’s too stubborn to move out of Florfy’s space and keeps taking force damage. Kyelas gets death inside of him, which I’m sure won’t ever be important for him switching to be a cleric of a death or something. What? No. Anyway, Heat steps on a sigil which destroys the wards. Undead, demons, elementals, EVERYTHING start destroying the city to get free, aka the city goes crazy. The party uses underground waterways from the criminal lair to escape, meeting and accidentally knocking out a Kao-Tao named Buka who thinks Alice is a god. Heat gets a pet puppy, pet puppy kills Buka, Heat kills puppy. Also a bounty hunter named Nilrem is introduced who was hunting Nathaniel. Oops. I’m sure he won’t come back later for another party member with a bounty on their head. Also also Kyelas and Yevor pass out and see a vision of the knockoff god dude saying he was wrong, it’s not a dark goddess, but some mixture of a powerful vampire and a shadow lady. You continue to a town named after a horrible person. The town has a play of the original of Evile vs Yevor and other dude from Yevor’s backstory. Yevor PTSD. Then town realizes it’s the real Yevor and celebrates, turns out the whole town basically have a yevor-boner. Anyway, Alas does some magic, a blue dragon fights another blue dragon, one dies, Kyelas uses it’s scales for armor. Erevan finds Quinten Coldwater, totally not a reference to a TV show called The Magicians, a warlock of Orcus. Party thinks Orcus is behind the undead, learns Orcus is not behind the Undead. Also I think Yevor sells blood to Baba Yaga for a wand? Also, something about Alas buying dank herb. Anyway, party continues going to a town in a basically dead forest and everyone is human and super racist. Alas fights a Wisp, Ti’Lin feels the racism, and party goes into an attic of *checks watch* three months IRL time. Fight some monsters that RandomWizard made, leaves with… I think a key? Or Ti’Lin’s dad’s necklace which has something to do with Heat and an old modron friend? Honestly I forget, it was just so I could make a song reference. Anyway, party continues to Techno Mill. Techno mill has a gnome rogue and a dwarf artificer gunsliner who captured an evil bird dude called a Nagpa which keeps the undead away. Party takes Nagpa, continues to mountains. Oh, also at some point fights the Dao crime lord from Seneca. Anyway, party meets Para’s old level 20 Planar character in the mountains and get in a fight, because Dao’s maul which Heat is using. They survive because Nagpa escapes. Oh, also throughout this party has been collecting books and fulfilling their long time dream of becoming a librarian. Attic dude had one, Nagpa had one, and now this person has one. Anyway, continue into THE DEADLANDS (lightning strike and ominous music). Yevor and Kyelas pass out again, see vision of light god dude stuck in a prison, and dark lady taunting him. She somehow sees Kyelas and Yevor and shove them out of the vision. Party continues south to a tower which should have another book. They fight some undead, get to tower, spend some time there (you know, another few months). Get book, leave, and now we are here, getting ready for everyone to do some class changes (if someone would hurry up already) before you continue in search of more books and head towards the Skull to confront Evile and some dark lady.

 

And NOTHING BAD happened when we left the attic.

 

Right I forgot. Lilith attack, and yall got like super rich. There was also a scene somewhere with a forest shrine and water weirds...

 

Definitely didn't... kill any professors.
Or leave behind any magic items.

Okami begins sniffing Althaios.

"What is it Okami?"

 

"What's with your dog? I figure it would know Althaios by now."
I comment.

 

"I'm... Not sure..."

 

You forgot the part where Erevan committed cold-blooded murder and Quintein’s ghost now has it out for me.

 

My eyes hurt now.

 

With the max HP of Alas, and the state of his backstory, we're going to have a lot of fun when coming in !

He kicks okami

 

"Oi, what the hell Alth?!"

I draw my swords, Frost Brand included.

"Do that again and your head comes off!"

 

Alth:"I think I've had enough of thid charade."

He pulls a knife from a hidden pocket

Alth then tackles okami they roll around in the dirt in a strugle befor eventually althiaos plunges his knife into okami

He stands up no longer a bird person but a thin purple creature

 

"WHAT THE HELL? WHAT ARE YOU?"

 

???:"I belive the term you'd use is a doppelganger"

He removes the knife from okami's corpse and wields it

???:"now... Whoose next?"
???:"how a'bout... You."

His knife is level with caligo
???:"You were always annoying and spoiling my fun, well now its time for somr payback."

He charges at caligo.
