    Minecraft:
About 4-5 years ago, I started playing an MMORPG with a friend of mine, I instantly fell in love, that was Wynncraft. I started playing roughly around the time of when Gavel came out and never really appreciated the update until I realize how huge it was. After time I beat almost the entire game on multiple classes. I played for hours every day, exploring, having adventures, and that friend became one of my best friends. The amount of detail the developers put into Wynncraft was incredible and I never thought that a block game like minecraft could be so detailed and incredible. I made so many memories and had shared so many moments with online friends and my best friend. Im looking back at the map and reminiscing about all the amazing things that we did and experienced. I guess what I'm trying to say is that whether or not Wynncraft is still a large community, I think all of the old and new members of Wynncraft should thank the developers for such an amazing creation they shared with us. It truly was amazing. Thank you Wynncraft.

"I played for hours every day, exploring, having adventures, and that friend became one of my best friends" - That isn't healthy in the slightest lol

I meant online interactions, I would never become more than friendly with someone online. For good reason, although if you want to do that then that's apsolutely fine, I was more getting on to the part of playing for hours every day :), I never said it was sad. Just that it isn't healthy, which of course is impossible for you to disagree with.

    Sports > gaming (health wise)

Playing a few hours a day is perfectly fine, as long as it doesn't get in the way of school/work, social life, health and I guess sports.

Gaming is in fact a sport (it is called E-Sports). Also games aren’t all ‘unhealthy’. Just look at Wii Sports, one of the most bought games of all time, or Wii Fit (another popular game that has made records in copies sold). Don’t judge a book by its cover, there is much more that people tend to forget about.

Just saying this, not trying to start anything here.

Besides, this isn’t the point of this person’s thread, so let’s not talk about this anymore.

Woah that's nostalgia, still have my old ass Wii that doesn't even have an HDMI port with my old copy of Wii Sports and my Wii Fit Board.

I played sports, did well in school, and still interacted plenty with people in real life. It was my free time that I would skype with my IRL best friend and play.

Its not that he was just my best friend through Wynncraft, it was one of many things we bonded through, but we spent a lot of time playing together and we are still playing games and hanging out years later. Hes more than just a friend that plays a video game. Thats also not a very depressing thing, we bonded through a game, but we also spent time together in school, hanging out outside of school, and playing minecraft, you are missing the point of the thread though.

How the hell did a thread about someone having a good time on Wynn turn into a thread on Wii sports?

Gaming is not a sport, and no matter how hard you want it to be it never can be

I play chess, it's called a sport by some people, but isn't recognised as one by the majoirty of people. And certainly not in the UK
