The Problem With The Guilds

So it's about the guild system.
I'll say my opinion on the current guild system in this thread and why I think it's bad.
Guilds are a great thing You meet other players and have more fun, but there are also a lot of problems with the current guild system, for example, they always have a very high level character to even join a good guild with more terrerories.
And the fact that the places in the guilds are very very limited, it is so that the guilds are now very picky in the selection of their members.
The capabiities of all guilds that have 1 or more terretories are just 1337 members, that's a joke in comparison to how many people play on Wynncraft and have fun.
In my opinion, the guilds should:
First, get more seats
secondly, being fed increases people no matter what level they have

It's just competition :/
And tbh those guilds might look pretty full but most are probably just waiting to get full to start kicking members to make space for more.
You can just apply and see if you get accepted. And for those big warring guilds requirements, it's just that lower lvl ppl often don't have good builds or are just too weak to survive some guild wars.
Also know that next big update might/will be the guild update

 

The problem is with a 20-40 lvl Character can't your join a good Guild.
And that's why the beginners have less fun.

 

^ agree here - high level characters also shows commitment to the server so it is unlikely a member is inactive
Also note that guilds are not always focused on warring - A lot (probably majority) of awesome guilds that I know of do not hold any territory yet have super fun communities, so this 1337 number really only represents a small number of high level guilds that participate regularly in wars. You could really war for any guild though they don't have to be a huge war guild. good guild =/= territory

Using this there will be plenty of awesome guilds that would be willing to accept you :D browse the forums a bit!

 

Your need a 70+ Character to join a good Guild that's not normal

 

There are plenty of good guilds out there! This is just the first page of the forums with guilds up to level 70 willing to accept all levels

but what if you want to participate in guild war that is an important aspect of the guilds

 

There is no one stopping you, but the MINIMUM level for mobs in war is 50, so you'r going to have a hard time doing anything if you're much below.

honestly, don't even worry about joining a guild until later levels. they only start getting fun once you know a lot about the game, which usually happens along with higher levels. just enjoy your time doing quests and such. guilds seem incredibly important at first, but they're not really.

 

Guilds were made as content to occupy people that finished the end game

 

The main reason why most of the higher level guilds are this picky about levels is that they need players who can solo high defenses etc. and honestly getting a high level class is rather easy.

 

Guild are intended for end game content. And despite the room it the guild it will have standards - whether that’s level or quality of application or what have you. Guilds don’t accept lower levels because wars exist, and even if it isn’t a warring guild you want to target higher level people who understand the game well so you can develop a solid community of people who are committed to the game. This isn’t a you-can-have-it-all situation - if you’re too low leveled you just can’t war or show consistent commitment to the game, there’s no way around that, and guilds usually inherently follow that sentiment.

It also means they have finished the game and therefor might already got bored of the game or be getting bored

 

I do agree to an extent, but more so that recruiting spots are geared towards guilds that are high level (guilds that war) which does not favor community guilds, overall limiting how much a guild's community can grow.

And Titans Valor recruits all levels because at the end of the day, community matters, and at that point it doesn't matter what level you are because the fun part is helping them grow, so that is what we do.

 

I think that is true in some circumstances, but not all. It can be completely relevant for lower leveled players to be interested in a guild. Many guilds including mine favor newer players because it is honestly a blast helping them grow and level out their character. Lower level players can find help and guidance through players that are familiar with the game who are willing to share their experience through a guild. Taking participation in a guild environment can ultimately change your Wynncraft experience for the better.
