Does /kill Remove All Your Items?

I was near the pigmen's ravine but i was lagging too much so i logged out for a bit. But when i log in again, my character got stuck undergound. I didnt know what to do so i keep logging out and in again in hope that would fix it, but as i keep doing that, it got worse and now my character is falling below the map and taking damage :(

I just found out about /kill but i wanna know, does this command remove all your items? I brought my best gear with me so i dont want to lose them...

Please help ASAP :(

 

Normally, it only takes a bit unless you play on hardcore.

/kill makes you lose 2 soul points. The less soul points you have, the more items you drop upon your death.

Sometimes, /class also works.

 

So i only lose soul points, and NOT items, when i do /kill ?

 

You lose a small amount of items when you die, mostly junk and ingridients.
However, you also lose 2 soul points.
If you have less soul points, you lose more items.

 

Ah i see! I just did /kill and i didnt lose any of my gear. Thank you so much for the help :)
