You decide to train your mechs in throwing javelins for 2 hours. You find that they are quite skilled
at it with their advanced algorithms. (+4 AS)

You take another very short nap, although you just slept and don't feel very sleepy. Nevertheless, you feel a bit more energetic. (+1 HP)

And... that energy is countered by a fit of coughing :/ (-1 HP)

The sun is almost setting down the Corkus horizon, so you decide to try and train your army. Apparently, even mechs are lazy and they refuse. You shrug.

Tsu has 8/35 HP and 39 AS.

 

"I'll be back in [insert time to travel] if i dont run into any troble on the way to collect the leaves. If i dont return in 3 days(i hope it's less to travel back and fourth) considere the deal off"
I head back to Aldorei for the leaves

 

"Surely." The twins now have smiles on their faces as you leave the city.

You return in Aldorei before the one immense Cherry Blossom tree. Then, suddenly you forgot one important detail; taking leaves from the Cherry Blossom is illegal and will be punished by confiscation of all items. Plus, taking the leaves on its own will take extreme climbing skill.

Are you sure you want to go for the leaves?

 

Can my treant get it? I mean he's a walking tree so I'll just say it's the treant finding the cherry tree atractive and trying to get some of that tree on tree action.

Although your treant is significantly smaller, it scrambles up to the cherry blossom, as you command it. The nearby guards look at the treant with a little suspicion, and then go back to their work. You give your treant the signal, and the treant begins pulling down a couple leaves from the Cherry Blossom. But you don't realize that the pulling makes a very loud snap, and the guards quickly turn their heads towards the treant.

Guard 1 says to Guard 2, "That treant is vandalizing our prized tree! Fire!" The guards fire three arrows into the treant, and it falls down. (-5 AS) Your jaw opens wide. The guards turn to you, and you laugh nervously.

"Look, you gotta keep your army under control, and if your little army beasts get too mischievous, we won't be afraid to take lethal measures to keep Aldorei safe. And, now, if it was you, one of our own, you'd get confiscated of all items, as you should know..."

Your cheeks turn red. Suddenly, a loud noise erupts from the Cherry Blossom. A flowered treant steps out from the trunk of the tree and starts to inspect your fallen treant.

"It--it's the Cherry Angel!" Guard 2 yells.

Then, the Cherry Angel kneels down over your treant and starts to weep, speaking some words of remorse. You, your army, and the guards watch in both confusion and surprise. The Cherry Angel then gives a menacing look towards the guards. She then takes your treant's body and heads back into the trunk of the Cherry Blossom. As she enters the trunk, she drops one Elven Cherry Blossom Leaf, and while the guards look away, utterly confused, you pick it up.

Blue Battle Sage has 17/30 HP and 17 AS, and has acquired 1x Elven Cherry Blossom Leaf. (there was an error in AS calculation in one of the last posts, I've corrected it)

 

I look at where the Cherry Angel went and say to the guards that shot the treant "You know. It doesn't really look like he was vandelising the tree since the Cherry Angel showed up." I then look at them in a serious expresion and yell "HAVE YOU NO SHAME IN SHOOTING ONE OF MY SOLDIERS!? I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXCUSES, HAVE YOU NO SHAME?!"

 

"Soldier?! That's a soldier to you!?? CAN'T YOU SEE?! THAT...LITTLE BEAST DISRUPTED OUR VERY OWN CHERRY ANGEL!!!!" Yikes, Guard 2's mad. On the other hand, Guard 1 seems to be experiencing actual pity.

"I'm--we're very sorry. We didn't mean to--"

"Stop that! Keep a close watch on the Sage!"

 

I yell back at guard 2
"I will not take any disrespect of my soldiers, Fredrick may not have been an elf, but he was still a soldier that fought for Aldorei. And did it look like the Cherry Angel was mad at him? No, she was mad at YOU. Why? Because you ended the life of an innocent!"

 

"That looks a bit too dangerous for us right now, fall back!" I say to my men.
We're going to attempt to get away from the beasts.

 

Guard 2 begins using swears in his speech while Guard 1 is trying to break up the fight, just when the same tree-breaking noise sounds again. The Cherry Angel walks toward you, and she is holding hands... with your treant, alive.

"Plu st th figing. Thr is ner nee." the Cherry Angel speaks in a very tranquil voice.

You and the two guards stare back again blankly at the Cherry Angel.

"Let me translate into your common elf language. Please stop this fighting, there is no need. Blue Battle Sage, while you were having a battle of wits, hours have passed and I have been able to heal your friend." Your treant walks toward you, and although you can notice a scratch in the wood where an arrow went through, he is in decent health and can fight for you again. (+4 AS) "But I do know what your true intention is, commander. I know that you were here to take four leaves from me, one which you have acquired."

Guard 2 shouts back at you: "I knew you were up to no go--"

"Please, stop. It hurts my ears. Now, I cannot give you the three leaves you seek, as that would be breaking your elven rule of avoiding greed, but I can give you something." The Cherry Angel hands you a Cherry (heals +10 HP). "I know, it is not much, but I cannot give too much." With those words, the Angel shares a glance with your treant and heads back into her tree.

Blue Battle Sage has 17/30 HP and 21 AS, and has acquired Cherry (heals +10 HP).

An undead boar swings at you, but you dodge it. You flee northwest, and run into three Skien's Footsoldiers.

3x Skien's Footsoldiers each have 12/12 HP and 2-6 AS, with spells: Heal.

Two of your men board a small boat secretly to scout for any activity, that is, other than the obvious massacre taking place. Fifteen long minutes later, the two scouts show up, horribly injured. (-1 AS)

"The Dennatur clan...has allied with the...Phief clan, and they're...the two strongest factions...and they're now...together..." The first scout starts.

"Dennatur...has an assassin...very strong...nearly killed both of us..." The second scout faints.

Hoyoboy has 23/25 HP and 14 AS.

RNG to state who goes first: Robert goes first.

You slash your weapon at Skien's Footsoldier 1, with 17 damage. Skien's Footsoldier 1 lurches backward and dies silently.

Skien's Footsoldier 2 heals himself and Skein's Footsoldier 3. No effect...

Skien's Footsoldier 3 stabs his dagger into your skull, or at least tries to, but still causes a fresh wound. (-4 HP)

Your frontline soldiers drive their weapons into Skien's Footsoldier 2's leg, and it starts spewing blood. 21 damage. The footsoldier shouts a chilling cry of death.

Skien's Footsoldier 3 bashes you in a sensitive spot! (-6 HP)

An archer fires an arrow landing in Skien's Footsoldier 3's skull. 14 damage. It, too, falls over lifeless. (yeah I need more descriptive words to describe death lol)

Your army gains 7 AS as experience.

By the way, maybe you should head back to Selchar and get healing items before you continue your "grind" at Skien's.

Robert has 11/25 HP and 25 AS.

I look for a ship that can take us back to Selchar.

 

I start ignoring the 2 guards and say to my trant "Fredrick are you okay?"

 

"We got to get out of here and get stronger."
