A famous scientist Dr. Urelixius, the same one that detected the virus outbreak a couple (in-game) hours ago, has experimented for years with electromagic and machines. He is in town now.

You go up to the building that houses the Urelixius Company and the door is answered by the doctor himself. But it seems that he is in a sick condition.

"*cough* Funding? Ah, sure my *cough* soldier. I don't see any emeralds on you, so how about you do a *cough* favor for me, eh? You know about the D. maximus outbreak up north *cough* in Avos, right? All I need *cough* from you is to go over to Avos and take a *cough* quick poll on the number of ill. Once you *cough* come back, I do have this nice electromagic *cough* invention that will supply +15 AS to your army."

Take the deal?

The elves of Aldorei seem particularly calm today, despite the wars. However, an elven mother seems quite distressed.

"Help, soldier! My poor son has fallen in the well! Please, I beg you, please rescue him!" she cries.

"Then i must hurry, point me in the direction" i try to help the mother

She points frantically to your left. You quickly jump in the pit to save the child.

As you dive beneath the ground, you start to hear a young boy's cries. You see the child and you dive faster. Suddenly, the boy's cries stop. You manage to lift the small elf, unconscious, up, age 5 or 6, and swim up to the surface. It takes massive strength, but eventually you make it. The mother rushes towards you, then she gasps with fright.

"Oh no! My--is he de--"

The child elf starts coughing in your face and slowly opens his eyes. You hand the child to his mother.

"Oh, how can I pay you, my savior? Thank you so, so much! Please, take this Ring of Carved Sandstone (+5 HP)."

Blue Battle Sage has 30/30 HP and 13 AS.

 

I tell my army to take this as an example and help the locals in need this way hoping to gain more volentears for the army

 

The name Deathcone maximus can really tell you a lot... the area is pretty much the same as 1000 AP Corkus (i.e. the Avos in actual Wynncraft)

You give your army a great, inspiring speech about helping the locals, so that the army can get stronger. They nod and raise their weapons in agreement. Inspired, the army receives +3 AS.

You march towards the Avos territory. As you enter the area, your eyes lay upon the great number of people doubled over on the ground, coughing and vomiting. It seems like the great Gavel plague of Necrosis 850 years ago. You also notice many Avos shamans trying to cast spells of healing on the ill. A weak Avos warrior limps up to you.

"Why *cough* are you humans here? You have *cough* already created this *cough* situation. Do *cough* you wish to worsen it even more?" There is a bitter edge to his voice. You tell him that you are just here to survey the sick population, and that Dr. Urelixius has sent you.

"That damn fool. He tries *cough* to 'help' us, but he is the *cough* one that brought this disease here in the first place. You *cough* want to know how many are sick and dead. I tell you, 95% of our Avos and it's all. Your. Fault!"

Suddenly he starts vomiting blood on the ground and you decide to leave him alone. You run back to the city to report to Dr. Urelixius and claim your reward. As you re-enter the Urelixius building, you find yourself coughing as well. You look for Dr. Urelixius but he seems nowhere in sight. A worker interrupts you.

"Oh no, what can we do! Soldier, I have horrible news for you. I must tell you that Dr. Urelixius has sadly passed away due to the Deathcone--" You interrupt the worker's words to enter a massive coughing fit. (-1 HP)

Do you want to insist on getting your reward, or do you want to check your health? (or do something else)

I ask the people what they think about creating an alliance with Efilim, if the locals support it I'll travel to Efilim and offer an alliance to the fellow elfs

 

You quickly try to make your way over to the other side of the city, where the medical doctor is. As you run, you are shocked that you are now coughing small drops of blood on the ground... (-2 HP)

Dr. Meddikul opens the door and hastenedly (ooc: is this even a word lol couldn't find any other one) gesticulates you to come in. As you lay on the bed, Dr. Meddikal's face grows worried.

"Yikes! I don't have to even have to examine you, it's clear that you have the Deathcone! I--we-- would try to do anything to help you out, but there is no cure yet for this deadly disease. However, there is a treatment, but there's not a 100% chance that it will work..." He hands you a Deathcone Treatment (has a chance to cure the player of Deathcone).

As you enter another coughing fit, you read the warnings on the label. WARNING: Does not have a full chance of successful cure. Please use with caution. Side effects may include: intense nausea and/or poisoning.

You can choose to take the treatment, or say no.

Tsu has 24/35 HP and 24 AS (there was a slight error in the AS calculation last post sorry)

You ask many locals about creating a stronger alliance with Efilim (there is already one, but it is not very strong and is shared with all of Gavel). About one third of the population don't really see a need, one-half supports the idea, and rest don't care.

Maybe you should start heading to Efilim.

The doctor says: "It has a 55% chance of not working, a 30% chance of curing you of the disease, and a 15% of giving you unbearable nausea." You give the doctor an exasperated look that says "Now you frickin' tell me??" The doctor tries to apologize.

Pray to RNGesus... [1-55: treatment is useless, 56-85: you get cured, 86-100: you get unbearable nausea and lose 7 HP]

You give the doctor a glaring look before you break into another coughing fit.

As you leave your most elite soldier to keep watch over Aldorei, you lose 2 AS, but when (if) you return, you will receive the 2 AS back.

It's a long march but no monsters of the Light Forest run into you. But suddenly, a tree suddenly sprouts out of the ground. You start to see green eyes form on the trunk. The tree raises its branch to land it down on you...

[You can either choose to fight this treant beast, flee to Efilim, or flee back to Aldorei]

The Treant Beast has 30/30 HP and 7-9 AS.

Blue Battle Sage has 30/30 HP and 16 AS.

 

Welp. I may be screwed. But is my army screwed? Check up on them, since they went to the same area I did.

 

The virus doesn't seem to affect non-living insentient beings, so your army is in good shape.

You vomit a few drop of blood on one of your mechs though (-1 HP)
