Basically, I know how to craft them, etc but I haven’t got around to it so I have a small question...

How would a crafted ring/necklace/bracelet lose durability? Is it simply time based? Based on the damage you take? Damage you deal?

If I remember correctly it's only based on the damage you take, but I'll go test whether walking also damages it.

Okay I tested it, it seems to indeed only be affected by damage taken, walking around is just fine.

I just tested it too after seeing this reply, but I lost 1 durability after running around for ~45 seconds. However, standing still doesn't lose durability.

Bonus note: the bracelet had no no stats and had 198 durability

Maybe your speed or distance matters? I didn't test it for high speeds (which you probably did) nor did I walk that far.

Yeah, I used my walk speed build for testing it.

Strangely enough, when I tested armour durability loss, the durability loss was the exact same regardless of my movement speed though (1-2 per min)

Having more than a certain amount of walkspeed decreases durability I think.
