"I'm good at picking up on good and evil presences since I have extensive exposure to both, granted I strictly use the former... And this waiter has an evil presence, I can tell. And the magic those musicians used was... Some odd cross between demonic and eldritch. We should figure out what this guy is. Soon."

 

"I am. I assure you on my honor that the emblem is legitimate."

"... I admit I wasn't aware of the... time that had passed. I was mortally wounded during the event that led to the Order's fall... I was saved, but at a great cost. I can elaborate more if you really need me to, but..."

 

The waiter speaks? It is a defeated tone of voice, but an underlying resistance remains.
Waiter 3?: “There is no need, you cheat.”
The three guards who were restraining and gagging him are motionless and still. The cloth covering his mouth has a hole burned in the middle where his mouth is.

The first, leading guard steps away, closer to the stage and to you all.

 

I turn to the water. I'm trying to put on an intimidating expression but failing miserably.

"Sir Waiter, what exactly are you? I sense some tie to evil from you, and your cronies used some sort of eldritch-demonic magic. Tell me: Who are you and who do you serve?"

 

"Oh? That's an interesting way to address me..."

I laugh humorlessly. "Do you style yourself as Death, then? Come for me at last?"

 

Piplue:"Donsn't matter"

He grabs some batons.

Piplue:"I'm killing him before something bad happens."

 

The hole in the cloth burns darker and eats through the now charred cloth and even the waiter’s lips. His voice seems to burn too, becoming deeper and more exaggerated.

He stares at you.
“Do you wish to separate yourself from your family, traitor? Do you wish to cleanse what your family has cursed itself with, thrall!?”

Black blood spreads through the cracks forming in the burnt flesh around the waiter’s mouth.

“You can not speak of DEATH lest you accept it as the coward you are! Your patron has run rampant for too long a time, demonsbane!”

 

"Ah... I think I see what you are, then."

My helm encloses my face once again.

"Or, I see what force you serve, at least. Are you a messenger, then? Or are you simply borrowing that poor man's body?"

 

I adopt a cold, emotionless expression and take out a dagger. I hold it less than an inch from his neck.

"So you are one of them, then. Our former family may worship him, but Torm is the only one my brother and I worship. I'd threaten your life, but knowing your kind, you probably don't even care about your own life. You care about no one's lives. You care about nothing."

I pause and glare at him.

"There's a reason my brother taught me that monsters like you have no place in the world."

 

The scar running along his face and eyes glows with a light that seems to absorb all color around it, eating away matter.

Waiter?: “What am I, Torch?”
“Why does it matter to you? You cannot kill us! Have you forgotten why your order fell to chaos?!”

His eyes burst into a darkness that cannot even be described as darkness or light. It only consumes all.

“A MESSENGER, YOU SAY? I WILL SECURE YOUR DEATH MYSELF!!—-“

The motionless guards are thrown against the wall with an invisible force and are knocked unconscious.

“WORSHIP US TO NOT DIE, MORTAL. STAND DOWN AND BECOME OBLIVION. YOU ARE FOOLISH. YOUR BLOODLINE IS OURS.”

Wings begin to sprout from the waiter’s back. They creak and snap into place.

 

I laugh cruelly.

"Finally... my area of expertise."

I slam my gauntleted fists together, creating a shower of sparks.

 

"Man this place has terrible service."

 

I step back about 5-10 feet. My pseudodragon hides behind me.

Golden flames flare around me, my attire changing to be composed of golden plating with a white cloak and golden shoulderpads. A golden circlet is on my head. (this is all cosmetic due to Mask of Many Faces)

"Shut up. Shut up shut up SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! SHUT UP AND DIE!"

I put away my knife and take out my wand, pointing it at him.

 

Piplue:"No kidding..."

Can i throw a flashbang pre combat on him?
