Given the pressing circumstances I ignore the question for now.

I gesture around with the glass,
“constitutes as ‘monsters’?”

 

"You know, I killed some giant spiders. Do they count as monsters?"

 

I wink at your character, and for a moment you think you see the man’s skin change color to pure white, and his eyes a solid black, before going back to what you saw before

 

“Under normal circumstances, yes. Under Crimson Torch circumstances, I don’t know.”

"You know, cooked spider legs are pretty tasty, if you can withstand the poison."

 

um. Should I have some other knowledge before hand? Or is it fine for me to have no idea what this is? .-.

I'm specifically looking for a backdoor exit, while looking like I'm examining the scene.

"Well, maybe not their legs specifically are poisonous, but mostly just cooked giant spiders. There usually is some poison present somewhere."

 

”You seem to have a rather unique taste.”

 

"Unique? We ate it every few days."

 

“Yes, most giant spiders do, in fact, have poisonous glands.”
