This is adressed to the waiter.
"Aw, come on. We're good people. I *hic* bought lots of drinks this evening. And I saw some here did too. We're like.. not capable of fighting."

I narrow my eyes.
"Are there two of you?"

I was the one who took the arrow, who ”the other” who was stealing is, I don’t know

 

You literally said earlier that you took the money from the instrument cases.

 

I drop it on the ground
”Dead men need no money, but as you say.” I grin

Yes thank you I know very well what I did and did not do. There’s something called misinformation and accidents in posting.

 

I continue holding the glass in my hand, but not at the ready, and turn to continue listening to the guards.

 

@Riven let's see if I can resolve this mess.

I step forward, retracting the helm of my armor to show them that I am in fact human.

I hold up a seal with the emblem of a torch burning with red flame. With my other hand, I point accusingly at the waiter.

"In the name of the Crimson Torch, I attest that the owner of this inn is not what he appears to be. He revealed himself to be a supernatural being and directed these 'musicians' to attack me and the other patrons. I and the others act in self defense, and apologize for any resulting damages."

 

You hear ”That will hopefully get them on board” in your mind
I turn to the ’waiter’, dead staring him

 

“I would like to mention that - while being weak for a bunch of hopeful attackers - they didn’t attack us with their instruments. They had some pretty weird items.”
I add.

 

"We tried or best not to make a mess. Like.. start a fire or earthquake."
I smile.

 

”They had shields and firearms and a wand that smelled like blood.”

 

...Would I be able to make a religion check to confirm/deny a suspicion? Could add some leverage if I'm correct. (basically I'm looking to see if they're cultists or something).

As you pull the seal up into the vision of the guards, the waiter becomes pale with shock and utter fear.

Once the seal positions under the light of the inn lights, it flickers and splits like a glitch effect before settling itself in place without anymore weird effects. Ordon’s fingertips have this same effect, as it looks like it spreads in a short circle around the emblem. Surrounding the emblem in a veil is a type of ethereal, holy light that forms an image of a clock. It ticks five ticks backwards before it disappears, leaving just the emblem of the Burning torch.

Ordon: As you direct your focus onto the waiter, he has an expression of only despair and fear. Shocked, it is obvious he recognizes exactly what this symbol means.

The guards look at the emblem with awe. The guard who spoke drops his weapon.
“You... how did you get that?”

 

To clarify, me and Tsu are hiding in the kicthen.

 

I am going to use my Awakened Mind feature to tell the ’waiter’ ”Good luck getting out of this one.”
Smile subtly
I then turn my gaze and revel in the guards’ expressions

 

"The order was wiped out, but some of its members survived, at great cost. Though in tatters, we continue to uphold our mission."

I look directly at the 'waiter' and give a hard smile.

 

“What, exactly, is the Crimson Torch?”
I ask, walking my way over.

 

Coming to a realization, I turn to the waiter.

Thinking: This man... His presence is similar to that of my... Well, not the same, but evil nonetheless... And this magic is clearly demonic or eldritch or... Wait, demonic and eldritch... Oh gods, please no...
