i feel like my boss music is getting increasingly more intense as time goes on
anyways i hope you guys enjoy this because i sure didnt

 

Awesome as always. I really hope some of these go in-game, Renegade's Retribution in particular is really fitting.

I can kind of understand why this wasn't added. It's a little harsh to listen to for a long period of time (which is how long most people will be fighting Garaheth), and has some sections that seems kind of jarring next to each other.

 

I'm not familiar with your work, but this is incredible for something just using Minecraft note block sounds!

Kind of random but we went from this to this song.

also when writing that first piece i didn't know anything about music so i just flew around the keyboard until something sounded cool

 

It sounds good, but the heavy drums and kicks at 0:20 seem pretty loud and clunky, I know this is supposed to be a INTENSE BOSS THEME, but the drums could be toned down slightly, maybe even replace some of the Heaviness with some bass?

As someone who understands music - you sir are a god.
The beginning is interesting with the rythm and the dissonance, but the transition is perfect. Later on when you have those heavy hits on the 8ths, you managed to get the melody to fit in even though the drumming changed quite a bit. You even got it to sound like there was a solo going on at around 1:30, but kept the same theme.
Also with all of the fast rhythms in either the melody or the percussion, and the triolas, it really helps convey this songs theme.
And the chord scheme is really simple and dissonance but completely on theme.

i tried doing all the tricks i've learned into this song, which can make a song very messy considering one is fitting a lot of ideas in there, but i think it works kinda!!
