Why Isnt The Market Place Back Up?

Why do you think the Market place isnt up yet? (no updates from this thread https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/market-place-update.246235/)

I think due to some glitch all items are lost and cant be restored so everyones items are deleted.
If thats the case i would be fine (even tho i would lose half of my wealth) if the admins/owners would tell us honestly (also i think we need at least a monthly update on the thread).

The Person who gets the right answer why the market place isnt bacc up (as a reply) gets a free r a r e p o t a t o

I think there was either a problem with the rollback option, or it didn't even exist. I highly doubt it's because of our items being gone, when Salted has told us they're gonna still be there when trade market is back up. or maybe they did get deleted and that's the whole reason why we haven't gotten any info in over a month
What I'm really confused by is why wars aren't back yet, the playercount has gone back to a relatively normal amount and I've heard nothing about trouble with getting war servers back to being war servers. Did someone forget to turn them on?

we need at least a bit more information, trade market and wars are some of the biggest end-game things and at this rate players are just gonna leave with only li and a comparatively watered down lootrunning to do (exaggeration, but you get my point)

 

To be honest, trade market and wars were the only true reasons I came back AND EVEN BOUGH VIP after my break.
I am really dissapointed and I have expected some information at least...

I don't know wtf is going on over there but imo it's so dumb how we haven't even heard ANYTHING after this (market went down on march 26th approx)

Pretty sure the Trade Market got closed because a duplication glitch was found, so I assume the reason its still closed would be because that glitch hasn't been fixed yet.

I recorded this video the day before market closed down, you can see duplicated FTWs here, plus a perfectly timed unintentional banhammer which I put on the market, creating a hilarious moment for everyone in detlas back then.

I also heard that a few hours later someone put like 50 duped Apocs(?) on the trade market somehow and at that point the market closed down.

But really, it's stupid how bad the communication between developers and community here is sometimes. Dern getting cancelled, the level cap being raised, the shoutbox being removed and the marketplace getting shut down are all examples.

 

Id understand if the bug was still getting fixed, iirc whoever duped the Heros did it on accident so they may still not even know what the problem is. The lack of communication is a problem tho

 

It's probably just that the bug isn't fixed/incomplete rollback. Even looking at the marketplace from the outside it looks quite complicated.

 

imo it shouldn't take over a month to fix a bug like that. I think that maybe items were lost and they had a rollback issue.

1a. Trade Market is broken to the extent that it needs to be remade entirely
2a.Might come out with the guild update

1b. Replace trade market with war server
2b.Look back on 2a.

I mean every time things break a patch comes out with a whole bunch of other things fixed. They could be knocking them down the list of things to fix and once they have enough a patch comes out. But yeah they should really tell us "Hey uh marketplace is still not fixed but should be fixed within the next few weeks or so" instead of "cricket noise* cricket noise* SoonTM". However, they are human they breathe air like we do and have other lives so we should respect that.

 

I think we all know that, sure we are sad that it has been so long... The point is lack of the communication. Really? No info? At all? Month+?

This message took me just a few seconds: "Dear players, the problem with Trade Market turned out to be much more complicated and we will need a couple of weeks to fix it. Please, stay with us, we will keep you updated."

Right, it wouldn't change anything, but such simple message shows you care.

if they decide to pull some stupid "hey guys we just kept wars down for a few extra months so we could bundle it with the guild update haha" shit I can assure the devs that they'll be losing well over a hundred guild players from the people I know alone

honestly I don't get why I still play when there's nothing to look forward to anymore except long wait times and barely worthwhile results in the end

They told people how to 'dupe' with the market on undercover accounts so then they waited for people to put all their expensive items in the market like Discos and then deleted them all... They tried to balance the games enconomy.

To be honest and to be blunt I really think players should start demanding a reason for why the trade market is still down, we deserve to at least know why its taking so long. Even if the devs would say "it would probably take another month for (reason)" I would still be satisfied because atleast I would know why its taking so long then.

 

i mean the administration for wynncraft has been shitty for a long ass time. Im not really surprised by them not telling us much, in fact i kind of expected this to happen tbh. They've been this way since before gavel when they pushed the release back by more than 6 months and wouldn't say why.
yes, its shitty, but i mean we shoulda seen this coming. this wasnt a surprise

 

I guess at least we finally found out what was going on with the Gavel delay somewhat recently.
