    • Level 1: Unlocked when two Tier 4 Powders of the same element are used on an item.
    • Level 2: Unlocked when one Tier 4 Powder and one Tier 5 Powder are used together.
    • Level 3: Unlocked when two Tier 5 Powders are used, or when one Tier 4 Powder and one Tier 6 Powder are used.
    • Level 4: Unlocked when one Tier 5 Powder and one Tier 6 Powder are used.
    • Level 5: Unlocked when two Tier 6 Powders are used.
I'm currently using Cluster, which has 4 powder slots.
I've used 2 T6 thunder powers on them.
what happens if I add other type of 2 T6 powders like fire, earth.. kinda
does it have 2 powder skills?
    or... what happens
never tried and wanna know the result before I make my decision.

Only the first 2 powders unlock a powder skill if they are the same element

You get the level 5 thunder powder effect. TTFF gives thunder effect, TFTF gives thunder effect, TFFT gives thunder effect, FTTF gives fire effect, I think you get how it works.
This is why you sometimes see strange orders of powders on weapons with a lot of powder slots; powder effect like curse (water), chain lightning (thunder) and quake (earth) are generally seen as useful, while courage (fire) doesn't work properly and wind prison (air) just isn't beneficial.
If you're ever unsure about what powder special you're gonna get, just put it in Wynndata and you should get the right result.
(by the way, this belongs in the questions subforums, not the main Wynncraft forum. just a heads up)

    What?
I've never once heard of any of this.

Proclaimed by salted, only the first 2 tier 4 powders and above have any effect on the ability. Everything after that is a bonus.

The reason there are werid combinations of powders is due to how natural conversion works.

I have 0 idea where you got any of this info, and I would like a source, though I'm 99% sure your terribly misinformed.

Did I imply using more than 2 powders makes the powder effect stronger? Not my intention. I was trying to explain that their Cluster would always keep the thunder powder special, no matter what powders are put on it, and that the order of the powders matters when getting powder specials as a bit of extra info. I mostly see strange combinations of powders to get curse or chain lightning and not so much specific elemental percentage conversion, which is why I explained it that way.
I get my info from Wynndata by the way, which I assume is correct.

I've heard, though have never found explicit confirmation, that the powder special is determined by the first powder in the ordering that has a match later in the ordering, upon application, which seems to be what your describe.

Some people definitely use specific orderings for particular conversions (note the common Infused Hive powdering of W4-A4-T5-F6-F6, which personally I think makes no sense).

I tested some stuff out with my Alazarin and a few tier 4 powders once, after seeing it on Wynndata and getting kind of confused.

I hope this might clear some stuff up in terms of what gives which powder special.

Wait what happened to the powder special for FAAAF? Did it become Wind Prison after the first application and change to Courage after the last fire powder was applied?

Need confirmation first. If it did change, we can confidently say that the powder special is based on the first powder's element, excluding powders without 2 or more of the same element applied. That is, take the sequence of powders, remove any powders where there is only one powder of that element, and your powder special will be the element of the first powder in the remaining sequence. This means that the powder special doesn't depend on the manner of application, only the final ordering.

Yeah, it was Wind Prison first and then became Courage. You might want to test it yourself just to see if this wasn't a strange exception, but it it seems only the final order matters. Fairly certain it works the same with elemental conversion too, where it would take the percentage of the original neutral damage, not the current.

It would make sense as I tested the other combos for a 4 and 5 slot weapon and it was as said...

Alright, I suppose that actually makes more sense from a programming perspective - easier to just have a state function. I'll update my powders guide with this info.
