How Do You Get Rid Of Quest Items?

At some point putting items in your crafting grid and putting them in loot chests have been patched. What other way is there to get rid of them?

 

Fill your entire inventory with a stackable item and then replace the stackable item with the annoying quest item you want to get rid of and toss it out of your inventory, i'm pretty sure its not allowed but pretty much everyone does it at some point because everyone hates quest helmets, just don't remove anything like crushed gemstone and abyss galoshes cause that's stuff you need to use in a later quest but the rest you can burn in a fire.
