As your knuckles return from the palm tree, you are hit with a flash of confusion. Why, exactly, did you just do that?
Ah, right. Frustration. The decision on whether or not to approach the creature, at which you found yourself at a deadlock with... yourself.
As you turn back, however, it looks as if the decision has already been made. The creature is looking at you. Not in an overtly hostile manner, no, but not in fear.
It takes another moment for you to place the body language, as you're rather unfamilliar with this creature's everything. Curiosity.

Eh.

It's a rock, 'staring' at you without any eyes. So, some kind of extrasensory perception.
That or it does have eyes and they're just really hard to notice or in a weird place or both.
It's been messing around near the bushes and water, but you haven't at any point seen it eat or drink anything. No bite marks in the plants, no noticeable change in the grass.
Still, makes sense, it doesn't have a mouth either. Just rocks.

The rock thing has, at the current moment, no available methods of horrifically murdering you.
That you know of.

After maybe 10 seconds, the creature begins backing off once more. It scurries out of the oasis and burrows into the sand at first opportunity.

Can someone summarize what is currently happening

 

There a girl and she will be lewded.
We exist. We didn't commit selfstab and drank water. We see rock- we attack rock- rock flee cause we too stronk (totally). We walk and trip over a box. Said box has girl statue. We are now confirmed male. :D We dragged box somewhere and rock dude came back- before fleeing again. Time of day has changed to sunrise+2.

The monotony, while relaxing, is broken up by three things at once.
The first, barely noticeable, is a glint you notice on the southern(?) horizon. It isn’t increasing in size from what you can see, but it wasn’t there a minute ago.
The second is a rumbling sound. The well of water at the center of the oasis begins to bubble, and a faint but continuous tremor travels up your legs.
The third makes little sound, but you can see it clearly. From the direction the little rock thing fled, you can see two burrowing lumps under the sand, one clearly larger than the other. They move towards the oasis at a reasonable clip.

 

Run at them

 

You meet them at the edge of the oasis, where they finally burst above ground. One is the small rock creature you encountered earlier, while another is the same but... larger.
While the first couldn't be larger than a squirrel, this one goes up to your knee and is about 4 feet long. The rocks making it up seem, well, less crude, in a way? Yeah, less crude. More streamlined, sculpted, ‘efficient’.
While the first remains curious and apprehensive, the new one looks at you mainly with hostility, with just a hint of wariness. It's barely noticeable.

The new rock creature lunges at you with inhuman speed. Your display was apparently one of extreme aggression to the species of whatever this is, and it now assumes that this is a fight to the death. It is bloodlusted, and will not back off until one of you two isn’t moving anymore.
